Insanity: Poll Finds Democrat Voters Want Kamala Harris to Be Their Nominee Again in 2028
Democrat voters want Kamala Harris to be their nominee again in 2028, according to a new poll.
The Puck News/Echelon Insights poll found 41 percent of Democrats want Harris to be the nominee.
California Governor Gavin Newsom comes in a distant second place with eight percent, followed by Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro with seven percent.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg each have support from six percent of the poll respondents.

In the survey, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) received 4 percent support, ahead of three Democratic governors. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer got 3 percent. Both Illinois Gov. J. B. Pritzker and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear were at 2 percent.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), who also ran in the 2020 Democratic Party primary, received 2 percent backing, according to the poll. Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore got 1 percent a piece.
Around 16 percent of respondents were unsure about their choice, while some 1 percent wanted someone else.
Harris lost the popular vote and all seven battleground states to President-elect Donald Trump on November 5.
Republican voters overwhelmingly support Vice President-elect Sen. J.D. Vance, who had support from 37 percent of respondents. Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy tied for second place with nine percent each.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has the support of eight percent of the Republican respondents, while Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio each have five percent.
Three percent want someone else, and 18 percent said they are unsure who they will support.
The poll of 1,010 likely voters was conducted from November 14-18. The margin of error was 3.5 percentage points.
