J6 Prisoner Luke Coffee was Convicted of Assaulting Violent J6 Police Officer Lila Morris. Yet She Admits He DID NOT ASSAULT HER. His Nuanced Case is Why He is Asking for Pardons For ALL J6ers.
Luke Coffee was convicted of “assaulting a J6 police officer”. He is classified as a “violent J6er”. YET HE ASSAULTED NO OFFICER.
Coffee was convicted by a Dishonorable Judge in the D.C. Kangaroo Court of “assaulting J6 police officer Lila Morris”.
Lila Morris is the violent police officer who was seen brutally beating Trump Supporter Rosanne Boyland before she died in the same Capitol tunnel President Trump was scheduled to walk out of on Inauguration Day.
Morris’ body cam video documented her assaulting Luke Coffee with the same stick she beat Boyland with as Coffee stood over the body of Boyland, trying to help.
Incredibly, Coffee was CONVICTED of assaulting Officer Morris AFTER she was forced to admit under oath at his trial that HE DID NOT assault or touch her after the body cam video was played in court.
ONLY IN BIDEN’S UPSIDE-DOWN AMERICA WOULD THIS MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE HAPPEN.
The Dishonorable Judge still found him guilty of “assault of a police officer”, therefore putting him into the category of “violent J6er”. Sadly, many conservatives do not understand that just because a J6er was convicted in the corrupt D.C. court of violence does NOT mean they actually were “violent”.
Luke Coffee sent us the post below. As always, it is our goal at The Gateway Pundit to give every J6er back the voice that the Biden Regime took away from them. Coffee also composed a letter to President Donald Trump. That letter is embedded and in the article below. *Please share Luke’s story and comment!
Special Contributor: Convicted J6 Hero Luke Coffee
My name is Luke Coffee. On January 6th, 2021, we gathered as a sea of patriots at the Ellipse, a peaceful assembly in support of President Donald Trump. Over a million of us stretched back to the Washington Monument.
It was a celebration—a day that felt like a cross between a 4th of July music festival and a revival. We danced to “YMCA” and other familiar tunes loved by our Commander in Chief as his speech rang out with hope, unity, and the vision of what we stood for: freedom and the future of America.
But as the day progressed and I made my way to the Capitol late that afternoon, the atmosphere had already shifted. What started as a joyous rally had devolved into something darker.
I saw the aftereffects of flash bangs, tear gas, and rubber bullets that had been unleashed earlier in the day, leaving many shaken and disoriented.
Swinging batons and the sound of chaos marked what had once been a peaceful gathering. The air was heavy—not just with physical irritants but with the spiritual weight of confusion and fear.
In the midst of this darkness, something profound began to happen. Groups of Patriots huddled together in prayer, singing “Amazing Grace” and “The Star-Spangled Banner”—heavenly and patriotic hymns that rose like a beacon of hope in the midst of chaos. These moments of faith were a reminder that even in the darkest storms, God is present.
As the evening wore on, it became clear that what unfolded that day was no ordinary conflict. It was a spiritual battle for the soul of our nation, and Satan’s plans for chaos were evident.
Yet, as the enemy sought to divide and destroy, we clung to the truth that God’s sovereignty is greater. We know the end of the story: God wins.
For the more than 1,500 Americans now labeled as January 6 defendants, the struggle has continued long after that day.
For nearly four years, we have endured a living nightmare—relentless persecution, solitary confinement, broken families, and ruined reputations.
Many righteous men, with intentions to bring peace, are now labeled as terrorists. While Lady Liberty turned her back, these men and women have spent countless days in solitary confinement, stripped of dignity and hope.
And yet, through it all, many have found strength—not in themselves, but in our eternal Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. His promise to never leave or forsake us has been an anchor in this storm.
While not all share this faith, countless Patriots have found hope in His love, grace, and redemption. The trials we have faced are not just legal battles but spiritual ones, testing our faith and resolve. Like Job, we have been stripped of much, but we hold fast to the belief that God will redeem and restore what has been lost.
This battle is not just about that day; it is about the future of our nation. It is about the truth being set free so that our lives, and the soul of America, can be redeemed.

Here is the transcript of Luke’s powerful letter to President Trump:
Dear President Trump,
I write to you as one of the many Patriots whose life has been upended by the false narrative surrounding January 6th, 2021. First, I want to thank you for the stand you have taken against lawfare.
As we, too, are caught in the crossfire of politically motivated attacks, your resilience in the face of relentless persecution is a beacon of hope to all of us. Your unwavering commitment to fight for truth has given us strength, and we are eternally grateful for the example you set for us.
What happened that fateful day has been twisted into one of the darkest chapters in American history. I was there as a filmmaker, intending to document and tell the story of the day—an American moment of unity and resolve.
At some point, that story was corrupted. While the truth of January 6th has been buried under a mountain of lies, we know that truth, once revealed, will set us free.
The violence that day, which has been used to justify so many wrongful convictions, must be examined in full context. Any conviction stemming from such chaos is the fruit of a poisonous tree.
Much of the violence that occurred was reactionary in nature—a response to fear, confusion, and unprovoked aggression.
I personally witnessed police escalating the situation with excessive force, including tear gas and rubber bullets. These actions not only heightened tensions but entrapped peaceful citizens in scenarios they never intended to be part of.
One of the most tragic and misrepresented aspects of that day is the death of Rosanne Boyland. I was there with her in those final moments, and the narrative surrounding her death has been sensationalized and misreported.
I went forward to stop the violence, urging people to “stop—pray.” I even turned to the police, pleading with them to “stop—pray.”
Despite my actions to de-escalate, I was wrongly convicted of assaulting Officer Lila Morris with a crutch—a conviction based on a twisted narrative, not truth.
The only contact I had with Officer Morris was her beating me with a stick in the head and shoulders. Officer Morris herself testified that I never touched her, yet the courts chose to ignore the evidence and convict me anyway.
Mr. President, we who have been labeled as January 6th defendants were not there to incite violence or destroy. We were there to make a stand in the gap for our nation, just as you have so often done for us.
Many of us were standing peacefully, exercising our constitutional rights, when the chaos erupted. But in the aftermath, we have been branded as enemies of the state, stripped of our rights, and subjected to relentless persecution.
We are weary, Mr. President. We are weary from the political theater that has turned Patriots into pariahs.
The trials we face are not just legal battles but part of a larger, weaponized system intent on destroying us. We, like you, have been targeted not because of what we’ve done, but because of what we stand for: truth, freedom, and the Constitutional Republic.
The time has come for the curtain to fall on this political charade. We implore you to use your voice and influence to call for a full investigation into the events of January 6th. The truth must come to light, not just for us, but for the healing of our nation.
The “golden age” you have often spoken of—a brighter future together as one nation under God—cannot happen until we are set free and redeemed, with the truth exposed on the world stage. As St. Augustine once said, “Truth is like a lion. You don’t have to defend it. Let it loose, and it will defend itself.” We stand ready for the truth to roar.
Please, Mr. President, grant mercy and consider pardons of innocence for those wrongfully convicted. It’s time to set the captives free. Let the truth be unleashed so that our lives can be redeemed and our nation can heal.
Thank you for your leadership, courage, and commitment to truth. We stand with you, united in faith and hope, believing that together we can lead this nation toward redemption, restoration, and a brighter future as one nation under God.
With Great Hope,
Luke Russell Coffee
