Pro Life Activist Defeats Far Left Activist AG Letitia James in Court
While her state is overrun with crime and illegals, New York Attorney General Letitia James has been hyper-focused on two things—first, endless lawfare against President Donald Trump.
Second, punishing pro-life Americans.
The results of her efforts?
Donald Trump is back in the White House, and pro-life activist Bernadette Patel just defeated James in court.
A federal judge has dismissed a motion for contempt brought by James against the non-violent pro-lifer Patel after yet another attempt by James to use the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) against peaceful pro-lifers.
According to LifeSiteNews, James previously successfully secured an injunction against Red Rose Rescue despite the organization not being a formal group. Instead, volunteers simply enter the waiting room of abortion businesses to offer the women roses and provide alternative options besides abortion.
Red Rose Rescuers peacefully talk to women scheduled for abortion, with the goal of persuading them to choose life. They offer to them red roses as a sign of life, peace and love. Should the unborn still “totter to execution” Red Rose Rescuers stay in the place of execution in solidarity with their abandoned brothers and sisters performing a non-violent act of defense through their continued presence inside the killing centers remaining with them for as long as they can.
The Rescuers stay with the abandoned unborn, as the manifestation of our love for them recognizing that unborn children, as members of the human family, have a right to be defended. The rescuers will not leave the unwanted, but must be “taken away.”
The injunction barred Red Rose Rescue participants from coming within 15 feet of an abortion facility.
Patel was charged with contempt by James for violating the injunction.
However, Federal Judge Kenneth Karas dealt James a blow on Monday and dismissed the motion.
Christopher Ferrara, Thomas More Society Senior Counsel, reacted to the ruling, saying, “We are very pleased with the Court’s thorough and well-reasoned opinion, denying Letitia James’ attempt to further silence our pro-life clients.”
“The evidence we provided in defense of Red Rose Rescue clearly demonstrated that there was no violation of the injunction, including the bodycam footage showing that every claim of misconduct made by the AG’s two partisan witnesses was demonstrably false.”

James has made it a mission to go after pro-life organizations and their members. In May 2024, James attempted to scare pro-life pregnancy centers in the state into silence by threatening possible lawsuits over allegedly misleading statements about ‘abortion pill reversal’ (APR) protocols.
