“They Should Lose Their License!” — President Trump FIRES OFF on Fake News ‘CBS and 60 Minutes’ — Urges FCC to Impose Maximum Fines and Punishment After Latest Round of Fake News Attacks
Sunday night marked another explosive chapter in President Trump’s ongoing battle with the dishonest corporate media, as he fired off a pair of Truth Social posts eviscerating the long-disgraced CBS program “60 Minutes” for airing not one—but two—blatantly false hit pieces against him.
This is not the first time “60 Minutes” was accused of running deliberately false reports in order to take down President Trump.
It can be recalled that ’60 Minutes’ cut Kamala’s nonsensical answer to a question and replaced it with a completely separate sentence she said earlier in the interview. This was fraud and election interference.
In recent news, CBS is now considering settling a $10 billion lawsuit brought by Trump over its deceptively edited ’60 Minutes’ interview with Kamala Harris prior to the 2024 election.
Sources inside CBS, as reported by CNN, revealed that discussions of a potential settlement have “sparked outrage” in the newsroom.
Executives are reportedly fearful that the lawsuit could derail the network’s high-profile merger talks with Skydance Media.
CBS doctored Kamala Harris’s clumsy interview to make it look like she was making sense. Kamala could not even answer simple questions on the campaign without falling apart so CBS and “60 Minutes” gave her a hand up.
This week’s broadcast took things even further, Trump said, as CBS aired two separate “stories” attacking him over Ukraine and his America-first vision of acquiring Greenland.
President Trump: I just finished watching 60 Minutes, the FAKE News Show that was scandalously responsible for REMOVING a terrible and incompetently delivered answer, by failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, to an interview on 60 Minutes, just prior to Election Day, and putting in its place a completely different answer to a completely different question, in order to make Kamala look “coherent.”
Now tonight, with two separate but highly inaccurate stories about “TRUMP,” they’re at it again. The people at CBS Fake News just don’t get it!
In his second Truth post of the night blasting “60 Minutes,” Trump blasts the far-left production company for attacking Trump on the endless globalist war in Ukraine and a completely dishonest take on Greenland and the president’s stated goal of bringing the icy nation under US control.
Trump concluded by calling on FCC Chairman Brendan Carr to impose “maximum fines and punishment” on CBS, demanding that the outlet lose its broadcasting license for its “unlawful and illegal behavior.”
President Trump: Almost every week, 60 Minutes, which is being sued for Billions of Dollars for the fraud they committed in the 2024 Presidential Election with their Interview of Failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, mentions the name “TRUMP” in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend’s “BROADCAST” tops them all.
They did not one, but TWO, major stories on “TRUMP,” one having to do with Ukraine, which I say is a War that would never have happened if the 2020 Election had not been RIGGED, in other words, if I were President and, the other story was having to do with Greenland, casting our Country, as led by me, falsely, inaccurately, and fraudulently.
I am so honored to be suing 60 Minutes, CBS Fake News, and Paramount, over their fraudulent, beyond recognition, reporting. They did everything possible to illegally elect Kamala, including completely and corruptly changing major answers to Interview questions, but it just didn’t work for them.
They are not a “News Show,” but a dishonest Political Operative simply disguised as “News,” and must be responsible for what they have done, and are doing.
They should lose their license! Hopefully, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as headed by its Highly Respected Chairman, Brendan Carr, will impose the maximum fines and punishment, which is substantial, for their unlawful and illegal behavior. CBS is out of control, at levels never seen before, and they should pay a big price for this. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
