WAYNE ROOT: Mainstream Media is Lying Again. Trump’s Tariffs Have the Support of the American People. Even the Filthy Rich Ones.

First of all, let me state the most important point about Trump’s tariffs…

I’ve supported President Donald J. Trump since the moment he came down the escalator at Trump Tower in June 2015. That was ten years ago.

Since that day, Trump has been right about every economic policy to support the great American middle class, and to make America prosperous again. He is the most brilliant businessman, CEO and economic president in history.

So, why would I lose faith in him now?

Why would I suddenly change course? Why would I listen to the lying, fake news media? Why would I listen to politicians who oppose him? When they’re all owned by China. Why would I listen to Wall Street? When they’re all either owned, or bribed by China.

Why would I suddenly assume I know more about money, economics, or creating wealth than billionaire financial genius Donald J. Trump who has always been right about the economy for ten years?

I have one obvious message to all Trump MAGA supporters- “KEEP THE FAITH, STAY THE COURSE.”

After everything we’ve been through together supporting President Trump through thick and thin these past ten years, why change now? The answer of course is, don’t question it, don’t “over-think” it…

“ALWAYS BET ON TRUMP.”

Secondly, why are Democrats and the media suddenly worried about inflation? Trump produced literally zero inflation in his first term. They never cared. They gave him no credit. Then Biden (and his boss Obama) produced the worst inflation of my lifetime, very likely the worst inflation in America’s history. They said nothing. They acted like they didn’t even notice. They said, “the economy is fantastic.”

If Democrats, the media, and Wall Street didn’t think massive hyper-inflation hurt the economy then, why would the mere possibility of inflation now be the worst threat to our existence?

Third, Trump is hitting each country with tariffs, who hit America with tariffs on our products. So, what’s the problem?

Isn’t that called SELF DEFENSE?

Last I checked, that’s not a crime. If someone hits you first, you are allowed to hit back in self- defense. If it’s good for them to hit our products with tariffs, why is it bad for us to hit them back with the same tariffs in self-defense?

We also run enormous trade deficits because of these tariffs on U.S. goods. Trump wants to reverse these trade deficits. Democrats and the mainstream media claim that’s not a problem. They claim trade deficits don’t hurt the US economy.

So, if trade deficits are just fine and dandy, and nothing to worry about, why is it a problem if the other nations of the world now run a trade deficit with America? If it’s good for the goose, it’s good for the gander.

Most importantly, tariffs are a national security issue.

We either fight this trade war now with China, or we will self-destruct as a nation in the coming years. Our economy will collapse. We will have no decent jobs left. And we will be unable to fight a war with China- A) Because we are economically weak. And B) Because China will control our entire supply chain.

China will invade and conquer Taiwan- where almost all essential computer chips are manufactured. We will have no computer chips to operate our cars, trucks, trains, planes, computers, cell phones, refrigerators, and worst of all, our military equipment.

China will cut off prescription drugs and antibiotics- now almost all made in China. Good luck treating illness and injuries in America- especially if there is a war.

We need to bring manufacturing and essential jobs back to the USA now. This minute.

This is a life and death war that needs to be fought right now. There is no choice. Only a business visionary like Trump could see it…understand how serious our problem is…and be willing to fight it, no matter the pain.

I know middle class America is on Trump’s side.

Literally every single middle class American I know is on Trump’s side when it comes to tariffs. They understand their middle-class quality of life is facing extinction, and their jobs are going the way of the Edsel. They are all with Trump.

What I didn’t know was that plenty of smart wealthy Americans are on Trump’s side too.

Then I attended a birthday party last night in Las Vegas. Everyone in the room was Vegas royalty- the richest of the rich. They not only own Vegas mansions, but homes all over America. They spend summers in Aspen, or Newport Beach, or the South of France. Outside in the parking lot was a sea of Bentleys. These are the very people you might think are against Trump’s tariffs- because they have the most to lose with stocks, bonds, and business deals all over the globe.

Well guess again.

I made it a point to speak to most everyone in the room. One after another they all said the same thing. The exact same words, “I’m with President Trump. Isn’t he amazing? What a great start to his 2nd term. If Kamala had won, America would have been finished.”

But more importantly- to a man and woman- they all added, “Trump is doing the right thing with these tariffs. Had to be done now, or we’d be owned by China in a few years. Trump is the only President in history with the cajones to do what needs to be done. I’m with him, no matter if it causes me pain, no matter if my stocks go down.”

I was a bit shocked and pleasantly surprised.

Sorry, but if anyone tries to tell you the American people are against Trump’s tariffs, they’re full of sh**t.
