Grassley Releases Newly Declassified Russiagate Documents Related to Nellie Ohr

Senator Chuck Grassley on Wednesday released a newly declassified document proving Fusion GPS contractor Nellie Ohr lied to Congress about her involvement in Russiagate.

Last month Grassley asked FBI Director Kash Patel to declassify the FBI’s analysis of Nellie Ohr’s criminal referral after she lied to Congress.

Recall that Nellie Ohr played a key role in the genesis of the FBI’s 2016 “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into President Trump.

Nellie Ohr, wife of fired DOJ official Bruce Ohr was criminally referred to the Justice Department in 2019 by House Republicans after hundreds of new emails surfaced, contradicting her previous statements to Congress.

A series of “Hi Honey” emails from Nellie Ohr to her top DOJ husband Bruce Ohr surfaced and suggested Hillary-funded oppo research was being funneled into the DOJ during the 2016 election through a backchannel between the happily married Ohr couple.

Nellie Ohr previously told Congress that during the 2016 election, she worked for Fusion GPS to help them connect Trump and Manafort to Russian organized crime.

However, Nellie Ohr emails discovered through a Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit showed evidence to the contrary.

Grassley asked Kash Patel to “declassify the FBI’s analysis of a congressional criminal referral issued for Nellie Ohr following her false statements to Congress in 2018.”

On Wednesday Grassley released the newly declassified document that proves Nellie Ohr lied to Congress about her involvement in Russiagate and Crossfire Hurricane.

The document outlines details about Nellie Ohr’s testimony and the DOJ’s refusal to take action to hold her accountable for lying under oath.

Recall that Nellie Ohr used her husband and DOJ official Bruce Ohr as a backchannel and provided him with a thumb drive with her Fusion GPS oppo research.

“DOJ/FBI relentlessly went after Pres Trump+his allies but let Trump’s enemies off the hook 4serious crimes 2day Im releasing FBI evidence NELLIE OHR lied 2Cong abt her involvement in Crossfire Hurricane/Trump-Russia hoax Yet DOJ did NOTHING 2 prosecute Ohr,” Grassley said.

“Time to expose+turn the page on POLITICAL BIAS in our criminal justice system THX FBI Dir Kash Patel 4 agreeing w my request to declassify this doc Its in the public interest/ Im gr8ful for ur assistance in bringing transparency + accountability to FBI,” Grassley said.
