Far-Left Protestors Clash with Officers as Federal Agents Descend on Minneapolis Taco Restaurants (VIDEO)
Chaos erupted on Tuesday afternoon after federal agents raided two taquerias in Minneapolis and Bloomington.
Far-left protestors went crazy and tried to block federal agents from conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity.
Officers reportedly raided two Taqueria y Birrieria las Cuatro Milpas locations in a massive drug smuggling, labor trafficking and money laundering bust.
Leftists shouted at the federal agents and at least one protestor physically assaulted an officer.

Far left Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey released a statement after law enforcement clashed with protestors:
I am aware of the operation federal agencies carried out earlier today near Lake and Bloomington. While we are still gathering details, this incident was related to a criminal search warrant for drugs and money laundering and was not related to immigration enforcement. No arrests were made.
The Minneapolis Police Department’s only role was helping with crowd control and keeping the community safe as a large number of residents and bystanders had gathered at the scene. They have not been involved in anything related to immigration enforcement.
In situations like this, having accurate and credible information is more important than ever. We understand the community’s concerns and are committed to providing timely updates as information becomes available.
Kare11 reported:
Federal law enforcement teams descended on two Twin Cities restaurants Tuesday morning, reportedly to serve search warrants related to drugs and money laundering.
Vested officers raided Taqueria y Birrieria las Cuatro Milpas locations in Minneapolis and Bloomington late morning. A KARE 11 crew reported that some of those carrying out the raid in Bloomington were members of an FBI Evidence Team.
An FBI spokesperson shared a brief statement earlier Tuesday, saying, “The FBI is conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity today. I do not have additional information to share with you at this time.”
Later Tuesday afternoon, a spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) called the event a “groundbreaking criminal operation,” and said it was the first in Minnesota “under the Homeland Security Task Force umbrella — marking a new chapter in how we confront complex, multidimensional threats.”
“From drug smuggling to criminal labor trafficking, this operation showcases the breadth of our collective missions and the strength of a united front,” said ICE Homeland Security Investigations St. Paul Special Agent in Charge Jamie Holt.
