FBI Vows to Find Protesters Throwing Rocks at ICE Vehicles in Los Angeles

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino vowed the federal law enforcement agency would find protesters seen on video throwing rocks at ICE and other federal vehicles in the Los Angeles County city of Paramount Saturday following an immigration raid at a Home Depot.

Several people were shown on video to be throwing rocks at close range, with one wearing a distinctive yellow motorcycle-type helmet.

Bongino’s statement, “We are currently seeking information regarding the identity of the person(s) throwing rocks at vehicles conducting critical law enforcement operations. One of the perpetrators in this video is wearing a helmet, and we’re going to use our investigative tools to locate the individual. I strongly suggest you turn yourself in, it’s only a matter of time.”

Earlier Saturday, Bongino announced several arrests were made of protesters obstructing Friday’s ICE immigration raids in Los Angeles, “And yes, multiple arrests have already been made for obstructing our operations. More are coming. We are pouring through the videos for more perpetrators. You bring chaos, and we’ll bring handcuffs. Law and order will prevail…The Right to assemble and protest does not include a license to attack law enforcement officers, or to impede and obstruct our lawful immigration operations. We are thoroughly reviewing the evidence from yesterday’s incident in Los Angeles and we are working with the US Attorney’s Office to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice. The days of chaos ruling the streets are over. Either obey the law, or go to jail, there’s no third option.”

A top California labor leader was arrested Friday for blocking an ICE vehicle, TGP report at this link.

The violence in Los Angeles was spurred on by Democrat Los Angeles City Mayor Karen Bass who posted a defiant statement Friday in response to several ICE immigration raids in the city yesterday that were met by violent, obstructionist protesters: “We will not stand for this.”

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin responded, “We will not stand for THIS,” over photos of death threats against ICE agents left by protesters at the scenes of Friday’s raids in Los Angeles.

McLaughlin called out radical Democrat elected officials in a post about her appearance on Fox News on Saturday, “Our ICE enforcement officers are facing a 413% increase in assaults against them. And we have seen, in recent days, their family members being doxxed and targeted, as well. Make no mistake, politicians like @RepJeffries, @AOC, and @Tim_Walz are contributing to the assaults of our officers through vilification and demonization—calling ICE the modern day Nazi gestapo and calling for their doxxing. These politicians & activists are siding with criminals over American victims. Our ICE operations in LA this week have resulted in the arrest of 118 aliens, including those with prior criminal histories of: -drug trafficking -assault -cruelty to child -domestic violence -robbery – alien smuggling -5 gang members”
