(VIDEO) AOC Loses it, Runs From TGP When Pressed About Accusations of Trump Inciting LA Riots and Democrats Attacking ICE
Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) on Thursday got triggered when confronted by The Gateway Pundit about her comments blaming President Trump for the violent illegals and leftist insurrectionists attacking Los Angeles.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, AOC accused the Trump Administration of “intentionally” inciting the chaos in LA, where leftists and illegals are lighting cars on fire across the city, attacking law enforcement, destroying police cars, hurling explosives, and looting businesses.
Previously, AOC accused Department of Homeland Security agents of “breaking the law” and committing treason after Democrat New Jersey Reps. LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Rob Menendez came under scrutiny for bumrushing an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey.
“You lay a finger on someone, on representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, or any of the representatives that were there, you lay a finger on them, we’re going to have a problem,” she threatened federal authorities. And sure enough, McIver was charged by a grand jury shortly after, and leftists are now rioting against ICE in the streets alongside illegal aliens in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles and across the nation.
Democrats, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass, are claiming that Trump sending the National Guard into LA incited chaos after Trump federalized the National Guard and sent Marines to control the chaos that was already underway.
AOC, however, said the chaos is not related to the National Guard, but ICE agents enforcing the law, which she considers illegal.
When asked why it’s illegal to enforce federal immigration law, AOC pointed to recent incidents in Los Angeles, where California Reps. attempted to enter an ICE facility amid ongoing riots, and in New York, where lawmakers reportedlt showed up without proper notification and “while law enforcement operations were being conducted,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said. “They were told by Ice that they would be happy to give them a tour with a little more notice, when it would not disrupt ongoing law enforcement activities and sensitive law enforcement items could be put away.”
In New Jersey, however, where a lawmaker was charged with assaulting federal agents last month, the members of Congress were granted access to the facility, despite claims to the contrary. AOC ran when pressed on this incident and whether LaMonica McIver was justified in attacking law enforcement.

Ocasio-Cortez: Not even just the National Guard. This is about the Trump Administration– This is not related to the national guard, it’s related to ICE and the Trump Administration directing–
Conradson: So it’s about the Trump Administration enforcing the law?
Ocasio-Cortez: Breaking the law.
Conradson: How are they breaking the law?
Ocasio-Cortez: It is a US federal statute that United States members of Congress have open access to detention facilities, and it is illegal, illegal for ICE to block entry for investigations of those facilities. They blocked and barred members of Congress from investigating these facilities at the start of this in Los Angeles, in New York. Do your job and look it up!
Conradson: No, they got in to investigate the facility.
Ocasio-Cortez: No they didn’t, no they didn’t
Conradson: Yeah they did, and LaMonica McIver, do you think it’s ok assault law enforcement? Is it ok to body slam law enforcement? Is it ok to attack law enforcement? Congresswoman, you didn’t answer my question. Was it ok for LaMonica McIver to attack ICE officers?
