BOMBSHELL JOBS REPORT: American-Born Workers Gain 2 Million Jobs Since January — Foreign-Born Workers Lose Over Half a Million
The latest jobs report under the Trump administration reveals a stunning turnaround: American-born workers have gained more than 2 million jobs since January, while foreign-born workers — including potentially illegal immigrants — have lost over half a million.
According to the June report released by the U.S. Department of Labor, American-born workers have gained a stunning 2,056,000 jobs, while foreign-born workers have lost a jaw-dropping 543,000 jobs.

The data comes from the Household Survey, a lesser-covered but critical portion of the monthly Employment Situation report. While total job gains in June were modest at 147,000, the real story lies in the composition of those gains—and who’s finally being prioritized again.
Under Biden’s globalist agenda, the U.S. saw a surge in jobs going to foreign-born workers—many of whom entered the country under lax immigration enforcement or work visa expansions. But under the second Trump administration, the script has flipped.
In June alone, foreign-born employment dropped by 348,000, while native-born employment rose by 830,000—a massive one-month divergence that reinforces this trend. And the turnaround isn’t just statistical; it’s ideological.
More from Fox News:
The Labor Department’s jobs report for the month of June showed that the number of foreign-born workers declined by 348,000 from May — while the number of foreign-born workers has declined by more than 543,000 jobs since January.
By contrast, the number of U.S.-born workers increased by 830,000 from May to June, and is also over 2 million higher than when the second Trump administration began in January.
That comes as a more significant shift in the composition of the workforce when compared with last year during the Biden administration, when foreign-born workers gained 1.025 million jobs and native-born workers picked up 1.099 million jobs over the same time period.
The Trump White House touted the numbers in a statement to the press following the release of the June jobs report.
“For the FOURTH month in a row, jobs numbers have beat market expectations with nearly 150,000 good jobs created in June,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
“American-born workers have accounted for ALL of the job gains since President Trump took office and wages continue to rise,” Leavitt said, adding that the “economy is booming again” and will accelerate further following passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
