
Cuomo Shakes Up NYC Mayoral Race, Announces Run as Independent After Losing Democrat Primary to Communist Muslim Zohran Mamdani (VIDEO)
Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Monday announced that he is jumping back into the NYC Mayoral race as an Independent after he lost the Democrat primary to Communist Muslim Zohran Mamdani last month.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams is also running as an Independent.
“I’m in it to win it,” Cuomo said on Monday.
“Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that the Democratic primary did not go as I had hoped,” Andrew Cuomo said in a video posted to X.
“When you get knocked down, learn your lesson and pick yourself back up and get in the game ,” Cuomo said. “And that is what I am going to do. The fight to save our city isn’t over.”

Late last month Andrew Cuomo set the internet ablaze after he quickly conceded to Zohran Mamdani. He didn’t even put up a fight.

Mamdani has has made comments about “globalizing the intifada” and devised a plan to make white neighborhoods pay higher taxes.
