Trump Responds to Hillary Clinton’s Nobel Prize Comment: ‘I May Have to Start Liking Her Again’ (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump has responded to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s remark that she will nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize if he successfully ends the war in Ukraine without forcing the country to surrender territory to Russia, and his response may be more shocking than the original comment.
Clinton dropped the bombshell during an interview on the “Raging Moderates” podcast with Jessica Tarlov, which was released on Friday.
“Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize,” Clinton told host Jessica Tarlov.
She emphasized her stance, adding, “Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin.”
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin meet today in Alaska and even Hillary Clinton sees a path toward a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump (but it’s going to take a lot).

Trump responded to Clinton’s jaw-dropping claim during an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier aboard Air Force One en route to the Putin summit.
Baier has shared a portion of the interview, with the full discussion airing on his show.
“Did you see that Hillary Clinton yesterday said that if you got this deal done and not capitulate to Putin, that she would nominate you for the Nobel Peace Prize?” Baier asked.
“That was very nice. I may have to start liking her again,” Trump replied.

“So she’s having a change of heart there, that on Jessica Tarlov’s podcast. Let me just say that I asked him a lot about Putin and whether he thought he could trust him, because he’s been down this road before,” Baier said of his discussion with Trump.
He continued, “He’s had phone calls with him in which at the end of the phone call, there was another missile strike or another drone strike into Kiev where he sounded optimistic after the phone call. I asked him about his KGB background, the fact that he’s met with five different presidents 48 different times—Putin has—and he said, “Listen, it’s going to be trust but verify. I’m going to know, and we’re going to get to the next step.”
Trump has long voiced his desire for a Nobel and has been working to end multiple wars since reclaiming his desk in the Oval Office.
