Update: Five police officers were shot in York County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday while serving a warrant.
NBC News reported:
Five police officers were shot in York County, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday afternoon, three people familiar with the matter confirmed to NBC News.
Police were apparently serving a warrant when they were fired upon, the sources said. Three officers from the Northern York Regional Police Department are in grave condition, and another officer from the department is in critical condition, according to the sources.
One deputy from the York County Sheriff’s Office is injured, they added.
The alleged suspect is believed to be dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the sources.

Hospitals and schools are on lockdown with a ‘shelter-in-place’ after the officer-involved shooting.
The condition of the officers is not known.
WHP reported:
Police are currently on scene of a reported officer-involved shooting that has locked down multiple facilities within the county.
A helicopter and multiple fire police have been called to the area of the 1800 block of Haar Road, according to an online dispatch records from York County.
The Spring Grove School District posted to its website, saying that all district schools between K-12 are sheltering in place “due to an officer-involved incident” that is unrelated to students and staff.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro said he is on his way to the scene.
