Victor Reacts: Cancel Culture vs. Consequence Culture (VIDEO)

There is a very obvious principle distinction between what the left did with cancel culture and what is happening right now to people like Jimmy Kimmel or those who are celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Conservatives were systematically targeted, deplatformed, and fired from their jobs for the thought crimes of understanding that there are only two genders or that it is wrong to mutilate a child’s body. These are beliefs that until recently had been all but universally understood since our nation’s founding as basic reality.

Those who are currently losing their jobs are not the victims of modern cancel culture. They are experiences the consequences for their actions. No employers want to be associated with someone who is openly celebrating or advocating for political violence and the murder of those who disagree with the left.

For Jimmy Kimmel, lying about the details of a high profile assassination and misleading your TV audience has consequences.

Unfortunately, the truth won’t stop hypocrites on the left from complaining.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

CNN’s Brian Stelter is a liar and a hypocrite, but you already knew that. Even so, it’s important to document the most pivotal moments of his stupidity and hypocrisy.

Over the last 24 hours, since it was first reported that ABC had indefinitely suspended Jimmy Kimmel, Brain Stelter has been going on the air and hyperventilating over the news, declaring that this is the end of freedom in America, that this is a threat to free speech.

None of that is true, but what is really important to remember at a time like this, is that Brian Stelter has been trying to silence and censor conservative voices for years.

Brain Stelter’s entire business model, for years, has been to take Media Matters talking points and use them to silence people on the right.

But what if conservatives were executing our own form of cancel culture?

The left made their bed and for years we warned them not to do it. Why would we be expected to feel bad if they have to sleep in the mess that they created?
