IT’S AGAINST MI SOS RULES To Issue A Personalized License Plate Calling For Violence Against Any Individual —So, Why Did MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s Office Approve An “86 TRMP” Personalized License Plate?
First, it was Michigan’s Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer who telegraphed a sick message on a placard facing the camera behind her desk that read: “8645.” The term “86,” meaning “kill,” and “45,” President Trump is the 45th President of the United States, was literally calling for the killing of President Trump during a televised interview on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning show. The interview took place during President Trump’s first campaign rally with JD Vance in Grand Rapids, MI. It was also President Trump’s first rally since he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania.
As Governor Whitmer was sending a coded message to the world with her horrible sign, the U.S. Secret Service was busy ramping up its security protocols in her state at the Van Andel Arena, where he and JD Vance were set to appear for their first rally together.
In June 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a press release where she condemned President Trump for being “determined to sow the seeds of hatred and division.” She claimed his asking governors across the state to deal appropriately with the violent Black Lives Matter/Antifa rioters would “only lead to more violence and destruction,” adding, “We must reject this way of thinking. This is a moment that calls for empathy, humanity, and unity. This is one of the most challenging periods in our nation’s history, but as Americans, we must remember our enemy is racial injustice, not one another.”
Next, Governor Whitmer praised Barack Obama (America’s original instigator of post-Civil Rights era racial division): “Let us heed the powerful words of President Obama today to ‘channel our justifiable anger into peaceful, sustained, and effective action.’ It’s time for all of us to pull together and do the hard work of building a nation that works for everyone.”
Finally, the 2028 wanna-be Democrat Party Presidential candidate warned, “The president’s dangerous comments should be gravely concerning to all Americans, because they send a clear signal that this administration is determined to sow the seeds of hatred and division.”
Then-Republican Michigan gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon shared the image of Gretchen Whitmer sitting in front of the vile sign, accompanied by a brutal message: “Perhaps she should sit this one out since she very clearly called for it to happen.”
Now, Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, who is currently running as a Democrat candidate to replace Gretchen Whitmer as Michigan’s next governor, appears to be okay with pushing the same “Kill” or “86” Trump message by issuing a personalized license plate to a Michigan driver with a disturbing message.

The Michigan Secretary of State’s website clearly states that the license plate shown in this image is in violation of the Michigan Vehicle Code.

Could MI SOS be liable for issuing what appears to be a call to violence or worse yet, the murder of President Trump with the “86 TRMP” license plate? A public official who uses their position to advocate or sanction violence against a person could be liable under statutes related to misuse of power, corruption, or official misconduct.
DEPARTMENT OF STATE BUREAU OF VEHICLES & WATERCRAFT MICHIGAN PERSONALIZED PLATE RULES:
Under sections 257.803b and 257.803m of the Michigan Vehicle Code, the Secretary of State may issue a personalized license plate instead of a standard plate. This voluntary program allows individuals to request a particular configuration for their license plate. The Michigan Vehicle Code requires that the Secretary of State prescribe the letters and numbers for all plates; however, not all requests will be granted.
The Secretary of State will not issue a configuration of either letters, numbers, or letters and numbers that carries a connotation that is profane-or obscene; is a swear word or depiction of a swear word; is sexually explicit or graphic; is excretory-related; is used to describe intimate body parts or genitals; is used to describe alcohol, alcohol use, drugs, drug culture or drug use; is used to describe illegal activities or illegal substances; substantially interferes with plate identification for law enforcement purposes; is used to disparage or promote or condone hate or violence directed at any type of business, group or persons, a foreign word falling into these categories, or that conflicts with the regular license plate numbering system.
No elected official in Michigan presents herself as a victim of threats of violence more than Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson
On multiple occasions, MI SOS Jocelyn Benson has lied about “armed protesters” outside of her home following the 2020 election. The Detroit Police Department confirmed she was lying when they were asked by the media statement that there was no evidence of weapons found on any of the protesters who peacefully protested (many of them were seen singing Christmas carols on the video that was removed from Facebook) outside of MI SOS Jocelyn Benson’s home following the 2020 election.

Jocelyn Benson told the Detroit News: “The demands made outside my home were unambiguous, loud and threatening,” she said. “They targeted me in my role as Michigan’s chief election officer. But the threats of those gathered weren’t actually aimed at me — or any other elected officials in this state. They were aimed at the voters.
“Through threats of violence, intimidation, and bullying, the armed people outside my home and their political allies seek to undermine and silence the will and voices of every voter in this state, no matter who they voted for,” Benson said.
MI SOS decries violence and threats of violence against herself, yet the head of Michigan’s State Department allowed this vile license plate to be created and sent to an individual driving around on Michigan highways promoting the killing of President Trump.
Can someone please make it make sense?
