Will Jim Comey’s Son-in-Law in the DOJ Try to Prevent Comey from Being Arrested?
Is Jim Comey’s Son-in-Law in the DOJ Trying to Prevent Comey from Being Arrested?
Many people knew that Jim Comey had a daughter in the DOJ who was recently fired, but very few know that he also has a son-in-law in the DOJ.
We reported previously that Jim Comey’s son-in-law, Troy Edwards, was a prosecutor on the Oath Keepers Jan 6 trial where Biden’s corrupt DOJ claimed based on bogus evidence that the Oath Keepers intended to commit an insurrection on Jan 6.
Edwards was quoted by the BBC in this case:
Federal prosecutor Troy Edwards said that by responding to Rhodes’ call to action following the 2020 election, the defendants accepted an “invitation to sedition”.
But defense lawyer Angela Halim argued that there was no concrete plan to disrupt proceedings and that Oath Keepers were in Washington that day to provide security, not to stop the government from carrying out its duties.
The problem with Edwards prosecuting Jan 6ers was that he had a material conflict of interest. Troy Edwards is the son-in-law of James Comey who hates President Trump and the Jan 6ers and was involved in the Russia collusion attempted coup. Edwards should have recused himself as a result but he obviously didn’t.
When it was reported that prosecutors of Jan 6 cases were let go by the DOJ we reported that Edwards was likely included with this group, but this is not the case.
As of early March this year Comey’s son-in-law, Troy Edwards, was still at the DOJ and was part of the prosecution in the huge case surrounding Abbey Gate.
The DOJ released this statement in early March this year about a terrorist who was captured related to this event ):
“This evil ISIS-K terrorist orchestrated the brutal murder of 13 heroic service members,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Under President Trump’s strong leadership on the world stage, this Department of Justice will ensure that terrorists like Mohammad Sharifullah have no safe haven, no second chances, and no worse enemy than the United States of America.”
“The lethal attack that killed 13 American service members and Afghan civilians during the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan was an act of terrorism,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “ISIS-K brazenly claimed responsibility for the carnage. Now thanks to the assistance of the FBI, Department of Justice, and the CIA, we have secured Sharifullah’s apprehension and transport to the U.S. to face American justice. The FBI will never forget the loss of these American heroes, we will continue to hunt down those who viciously murdered our warriors, we will find all responsible and bring them to justice.”
“The charges announced today carry an unmistakable message: the commitment of the United States to hold accountable all who facilitate and carry out acts of terror against us will never waver,” said U.S. Attorney Erik S Siebert for the Eastern District of Virginia. “Our message to those who have been impacted by these horrific crimes is that you are not forgotten. We will continue to pursue justice no matter how long or how far it takes us.”
On Aug. 26, 2021, American and other Coalition military forces were conducting an evacuation operation at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan. Abbey Gate was the main entry point for the operation. Thousands of civilians were at Abbey Gate for evacuation.
At approximately 5:36 p.m., ISIS-K member Abdul Rahman al-Logari detonated a body-worn suicide bomb at Abbey Gate, killing 13 U.S. military service members and approximately 160 civilians….
…Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michael P. Ben’Ary and Troy A. Edwards, Jr., for the Eastern District of Virginia and Trial Attorneys Alicia Cook, Charles Kovats, and Ryan White for the Department of Justice’s National Security Division are prosecuting the case.
What isn’t shared in this press release is that it was reported that those in charge at Abbey Gate on the day of the terrorist attack told all to stand down and not prevent the truck from approaching. Some believe that this would have prevented the death of American soldiers and others on that day.
If you know the real story about how the terrorist attack at the Abbey Gate went down, then you know that attack was launched by people within our own government.
There’s a reason the sniper team with the bomber in sight was not given permission to fire.

Yesterday it was reported across the Internet that James Comey was going to be arrested for his crimes related to the attempted coup of the Trump Administration. This effort began during the Obama Administration and Jim Comey, then Head of the FBI, was in the middle of it.
Later in the day it was reported that prosecutors in the Eastern District of Virginia provided a memo to the new US Attorney there regarding why charges should not be brought.
Two sources familiar with the matter tell me prosecutors in the EDVA US attorney‘s office presented newly sworn US attorney Lindsey Halligan with a memo explaining why charges should not be brought against James Comey, because there isn’t enough evidence to establish probable cause a crime was committed, let alone enough to convince a jury to convict him.
Justice Department guidelines say a case should not be brought unless prosecutors believe it’s more likely than not that they can win a conviction beyond a reasonable doubt.
This detail was first reported by ABC News. EDVA declined to comment.

Is Jim Comey’s son-in-law one of the prosecutors behind this memo? Is he connected in any way? Why has the DOJ allowed Comey’s son-in-law remain at the DOJ? Isn’t he conflicted in all things due to his relationship with his father-in-law who was fired from the top spot at the FBI and who is finally reportedly soon to be arrested?
Someone please let Pam Bondi, Kash Patel and the new US Attorney in the Eastern District, Lindsey Halligan, know that there is a mole in their midst and it’s Jim Comey’s son-in-law.
