President Trump UNLEASHES on “Weak and Pathetic RINO” Rep. Thomas Massie as He Reveals the Person He’s Backing to Primary Massie Out of Congress
President Trump has found the person he’s looking for to take down his most obstinate ‘Republican’ opponent in Congress.
As The Gateway Pundit reported in March, Trump officially declared political war on Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for opposing the Trump-backed funding bill aimed at preventing a government shutdown.
The President went on to endorse a primary challenger against Massie and compared him to disgraced warmongering turncoat RINO Liz Cheney:
Congressman Thomas Massie, of beautiful Kentucky, is an automatic “NO” vote on just about everything, despite the fact that he has always voted for Continuing Resolutions in the past. HE SHOULD BE PRIMARIED, and I will lead the charge against him. He’s just another GRANDSTANDER, who’s too much trouble, and not worth the fight.
He reminds me of Liz Cheney before her historic, record breaking fall (loss!). The people of Kentucky won’t stand for it, just watch. DO I HAVE ANY TAKERS??? Anyway, thank you again to the House Freedom Caucus for your very important vote.
On Friday, Trump announced he was backing Captain Ed Gallrein, Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and fifth-generation Kentucky farmer, to replace Massie as he scorched the Kentucky congressman again.
“Third Rate Congressman Thomas Massie, a Weak and Pathetic RINO from the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky, a place I love, and won big SIX TIMES, must be thrown out of office, ASAP!” Trump wrote. “The incredible people of Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District gave us a mandate to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and the person that will help us do that is Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Fifth Generation Kentucky Farmer, Captain Ed Gallrein, a true America First Patriot.”
Trump then explained why Captain Gallrein would make a perfect replacement for Massie.
“A Brave Combat Veteran, Ed knows the Wisdom and Courage required to Defend our Country, Support our Military/Veterans, and Ensure PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH,” Trump noted. “Additionally, as a very successful Businessman, Ed knows how to Create GREAT Jobs, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote MADE IN THE U.S.A., Support our Amazing Farmers and American Agriculture, Unleash American Energy Dominance, and Champion our Nation’s Golden Age.”
“In Congress, he will fight tirelessly to Keep our now very Secure Border, SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment.”
Trump closed by expressing his hope that Gallrein would heed his call and run, noting Massie’s awful polling numbers.
“I hope Ed gets into the Race against Massie, who is now polling at about 9% because the Great People of Kentucky are wise to him — He only votes against the Republican Party, making life very easy for the Radical Left,” Trump said. “Unlike “lightweight” Massie, a totally ineffective LOSER who has failed us so badly,
“CAPTAIN ED GALLREIN IS A WINNER WHO WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Should he decide to challenge Massie, Captain Ed Gallrein has my Complete and Total Endorsement. RUN, ED, RUN — MAGA!”
As TGP readers know, Massie has been the biggest thorn in Trump’s side after going against him on several pieces of legislation, including voting against the “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
Massie has also opposed Trump’s pro-Israel policies and pushed a discharge position to force Trump to release the Epstein files after sitting on it for four years.
He even called on Trump to tone down his political rhetoric following Charlie Kirk’s assassination by a pro-trans leftist, implying that Trump had some role in the poisonous atmosphere that led to the Turning Point USA founder’s death.
While many on the right admire Massie’s outspoken libertarian principles, he forfeits goodwill by continuously voting against no-brainer legislation that would benefit America.
