After Epstein Scandal, Former US Ambassador Lord Peter Mandelson Returns to Britain, Where Reports Suggest He May Be Writing a ‘Tell-All’ Memoir To Get Back at PM Keir Starmer

‘Petey’ is back in Britain, looking for a vengeance.
And so it happens that Lord Peter Mandelson is back to Britain, after getting fired as US ambassador in the wake of the scandal caused by his emails to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Instead of the glory he would have dreamed of, he is facing ignominy.

The leaked emails revealed that Mandelson continued to support Epstein even after a conviction in Florida for ‘procuring a child for prostitution’.
Columnist Andrew Pierce, wrote on the Daily Mail:
“‘Fight for early release,’ he proclaimed to Epstein in one email, ‘Your friends stay with you and love you.’ ‘I feel hopeless and furious about what has happened,’ declared another. ‘I can still barely understand it. It just could not happen in Britain’.”

Pierce describes Mandelson as a ‘desolate and lonely figure’, almost universally shunned.
“‘Peter who?’ asked one senior Labour peer pointedly last week. ‘I don’t think he’ll set foot in the House of Lords any time soon. He is a walking embarrassment and he must know it’.”

“Before the Epstein affair blew-up, he was seen as doing a good job and in Washington he was known as the Trump whisperer. He had holidayed with Trump’s Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, a billionaire hedge-fund financier, and had connections to Mark Burnett, the TV producer of The Apprentice.”
Mandelson is expected to seek work ‘overseas’ – but there is fear the man Epstein called ‘Petey’ may retaliate against failing PM Starmer.
“In Downing Street they fear Mandelson will turn his dismissal into a money-making venture. Sources tell me a memoir about his dealings with Donald Trump is inevitable. It will also contain his true views on Starmer.
‘Believe it or not,’ said another well-placed source. ‘Peter feels he has been badly treated by Starmer. He is really angry about being sacked. When Peter gets angry with people he gets even. A book will be just the place to vent his spleen and get his own back’.”
