Biographer Predicts That British Royal Family ‘Will Throw Prince Andrew Under the Bus’, and He ‘May Well Go to Prison’

Will ‘Randy Andy’ be thrown under the bus?

The problem with Prince Andrew’s scandals – be they related to Jeffrey Epstein, espionage, or shady business – is that the controversies take on a life of their own, and generate continued repercussions that the Royal Family was never capable of controlling.

So, while the relentless news cycle may have moved on from his recent scandalous revelations, in Parliament, MPs are hotly debating ‘his lifestyle and living arrangements’ in the House of Commons.

The calls for accountability of Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, are intensifying, and according to Royal Biographer Andrew Lownie, there is a ‘very good chance’ they could end up in prison.

Daily Mail reported:

“Speaking on TalkTV last night, Andrew Lownie, author of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, said the Royal Family will ‘throw him under the bus’ due to the ‘reputation damage’ he has caused.

[…] ‘I do think the authorities will want to pursue some of these investigations. They will bring charges. I think if they do so there is a very good chance that both he and Sarah Ferguson may well go to prison’.”

TGP readers were introduced to Lownie’s work last August, when he published his incredibly timely biography ‘Entitled – the Rise and Fall of the House of York’ about Andrew and Fergie.

Timely book by Lownie.

On his TalkTV interview, Lownie argued that the Duke of York bringing his mistress on official visits was an abuse of his position and of the late Queen Elisabeth’s trust.

“’Just the brazenness, the sense that he could get away with this. He would go on an official visit to Thailand, paid for by the taxpayer, and he would bring his mistress with him to sit in the car at official functions. He would go through 40 prostitutes in four days,’ Mr. Lownie said.

‘Clearly there were a lot of people enabling him and protecting him and that included, I’m afraid, the Queen. This problem should’ve been dealt with years ago. The Palace only have themselves to blame’.”
