Rep. Thomas Massie (RINO-KY )’s attempt to sabotage the Trump Administration over the J6 pipe bomb investigation completely blew up in his face when FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino responded.

As TGP readers know, we’ve been told for years that an unidentified suspect, approximately 5’7, planted pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters on January 5, the night before the Capitol riot. But the FBI still can’t find the person who planted the bombs.

On Wednesday, Massie claimed he received a “troubling letter” which accused the FBI of retaliating against a whistleblower regarding the pipe bomb investigation.

Specifically, the letter accused the FBI of trying to identify/dox the unnamed whistleblower.

A furious Bongino responded by exposing Massie’s duplicity, pointing out that they had spoken for ten minutes on Wednesday morning and Bongino had offered him an in-person briefing. Massie refused the offer.

The congressman then deliberately ignored his calls on Wednesday night when Bongino tried to make the offer again.

“When I spoke with you yesterday, a little after 8am ET (screenshots attached), I offered you an in-person brief on our work,” Bongino wrote on X. “We spoke for ten minutes.”

“I called you back a bit after 7:30pm ET to again make that offer,” he added. “You didn’t answer and have yet to call me back.”

Bongino then took Massie behind the woodshed, saying that he needed a convenient opportunity to smear the FBI for his own political benefit.

“Despite this, you continue to imply that the Director and I are targeting investigators in the case,” an angry Bongino explained. “This is disgusting, even by the low standards many have for politicians.”

“You know my number, and you’re free to call me anytime. But it’s easier to tweet and throw BS bombs.”

Bongino went on to pledge complete transparency and uncover evidence of wrongdoing under the Biden regime.

“Yes, our leadership team will be meeting with FBI team members today, and we will avail them of all the whistleblower resources they need to disclose ANY evidence of malfeasance in the prior administration,” he said. “And we will ask about threads that may have gone un-pulled under prior leadership, because we are passionate about solving this case.”

The FBI deputy director then closed with a stinging message, calling Massie “a dog barking behind a fence.”

“I proudly serve in this administration, and I proudly work with Director Patel to reform and advance the crime-fighting and national security missions of the FBI,” Bongino wrote. “We would love to have you as a partner in this mission, rather than a dog barking behind a fence.”

Bongino then attached the screenshots of Massie ignoring his calls.

The Biden regime’s FBI in early January released *new* footage of the January 6 pipe bomber after Rep. Loudermilk released a report revealing the bureau engaged in a massive cover-up operation.

It can be recalled that a report released by the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight into the January 6 pipe bomber shows the FBI stopped looking for the suspect in 2021 and covered up the evidence.

The FBI, under the leadership of Chris Wray, refused to cooperate with congressional investigators. But FBI Director Kash Patel has made good on his promise to restore integrity within the Bureau.

In March, he officially turned over explosive documents related to the mysterious pipe bomb incidents on January 6th to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and his investigative committee.

In September, the FBI’s lab report on the January 6 pipe bombs was released, showing the bombs had ‘destructive potential’ but never detonated.

Additionally, the witness who discovered the RNC pipe bomb said the kitchen timer attached to it only had 20 minutes left. This blows up the timeline narrative and suggests the RNC bomb was planted shortly before it was discovered.

The kitchen timers attached to both bombs only had a 60-minute timer.

Given the dramatic difference in transparency between Patel’s and Wray’s FBI in their approach to the investigation, one would think Massie would be more appreciative.

But Massie would rather give the previous regime a total pass, provided there’s an opportunity to get back at Trump, presumably for endorsing his primary opponent.
