Elon Musk and President Trump appear to have let bygones be bygones and rekindle their friendship.
On Tuesday, the former Department of Government Efficiency head and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla attended an exclusive dinner with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, billionaire CEOs, and soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
Upon entering the room, Trump said hello to Elon and patted him on the arm in a friendly manner.

Trump then gave Musk a shoutout, reminiscing on last year when the two paired up to win the 2024 election, while delivering remarks at the Kennedy Center during a US-Saudi Investment Forum on Wednesday. He further roasted Kamala Harris and the Democrats for their “incompetent” policies, like men playing in women’s sports.

Trump: If you think about it, if Kamala, who’s the same basic thing, grossly incompetent— he was incompetent, they’re all incompetent because their policies are incompetent: open borders, men playing in women’s sports, transgender for everybody. I mean, they got the worst policy. I don’t talk about it too much, because if I talk about it, they might change. So no, I don’t talk about it.
I tell people, don’t talk about it. Wait till two weeks before the election, and hit the hell out of them, right? We talked about that, right, Elon? I said, we wait two weeks before. It’s almost like you’re in a war. Don’t shoot yet! Don’t shoot! Hold your fire. The enemy’s rushing. Hold your fire. Don’t shoot. Okay, now you can go two weeks before.
But I watched a guy the other day, a congressman, fighting for men, playing in women’s sports, and the new weight-lifting record for a certain weight was just set. The man was 119 pounds higher than a woman champion, who was a phenomenal champion— beat her by 119, and he was an average lifter prior to transitioning. A lot of the Saudis are saying, “What the hell is he talking about transition?” They don’t do a lot of transitioning. They’re sitting here, the Saudis are saying, “What is he talking about?” They’re saying, “What you mean women are playing against men? No, that doesn’t happen, does it?” Yeah, It does. These people are crazy.

Musk posted additional photos on X, commenting, “I would like to thank President Trump for all he has done for America and the world.”

This follows the very public feud and break up between Musk and Trump in June, where Trump he condemned the billionaire tech mogul’s opposition to the One Big Beautiful Bill. Musk then went off the rails and began relentlessly attacking Trump, claiming he could not have won the 2024 election without Musk’s support, claiming that Trump was involved in the Epstein pedophile ring, and calling for Trump’s impeachment.
Musk later floated the idea of starting his own political party, but did not actually take the steps to do so.
In August, The Gateway Pundit’s founder Jim Hoft spoke with Vice President JD Vance, who suggested that Musk would reconcile with the White House and the MAGA movement by the midterm elections next year.
Musk was later seen in September sitting next to and chatting with President Trump at Charlie Kirk’s memorial in Phoenix, Arizona.
