On Friday, November 14, 2025, the phone lines were ablaze within the January 6th community. Word was traveling fast, and confirmation was feverishly being sought of whether President Trump had finally issued a second pardon for January 6th political hostage Dan Wilson.

Yes, you heard that right, a second pardon. Wilson received his first pardon on January 20, along with over 1,500 of his fellow January 6th defendants. He was released from FCI Beckley in West Virginia and headed home, thinking he was finally free.

Almost immediately after he was released, his J6 Activist, left-wing, radical judge, Dabney Friedrich, decided that she wanted her pound of flesh, and President Trump’s pardon did not cover the charges Dan received from the FBI raid on his home due to his January 6th charges.

In April, three months after his pardon, Dan had to self-surrender back to the prison he had just been released from. Judge Friedrich could not (or refused to) see the obvious language of the pardon, and two of her colleagues in the US Appeals court were equally blind. And now, seven months later, Dan is finally on the other side of those bars he was wrongly held hostage behind. Dan had a great deal of help in this fight to be free. His attorneys didn’t leave any stone unturned. They spoke about his case to anyone who would listen — Podcasters, Reporters, Politicians, members of Trump’s Administration, anyone.

One of Dan’s attorneys, George Pallas, said to the Hill on Sunday, “Wilson, previously scheduled to remain in prison until 2028, has been released.” Pallas added that Wilson “was a victim of prosecutorial overreach and weaponized government” who “committed no real crime. His prosecution was a disgrace, his conviction a travesty, and his imprisonment an outrage,” Pallas added. “This pardon doesn’t just free him — it exposes the politically driven witch hunt that never should have happened.”

George Pallas, Carolyn Stewart, Norm Pattis, Nick Mudd, and Treniss Evans of Condemned USA & American Rights Alliance, were all credited by Wilson in helping him throughout the years and with his recent release. He also would not have survived without the support and love he received from the many friends, family members, advocates, and especially his fellow Americans whose names he might never know. He never felt forgotten but at times did feel left behind.
