Senator Barrasso Blasts Democrats for Encouraging Members of US Military to Defy Orders (VIDEO)

Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to discuss topics including the group of Democrat lawmakers who were urging members of the US Military to defy orders. The Senator blasted them for their outrageous behavior.

The video opens with a social media post with Democrats including Senator Kelly and Senator Slotkin telling Military members that they can refuse to obey “illegal” orders. The Truth Social Post from President Trump was also shown as he called it “seditious behavior.”

“What is your reaction to your colleagues on the left, telling US Military members to ignore President Trump’s directive?” Bartiromo asked.

“What they are doing is wrong and I believe it is dangerous, Maria. They have no right to tell members of the Military to disobey. We are talking about active-duty Military, to disobey orders from their commanding officers,” Barrasso said.

“It’s up to the Supreme Court to decide what is Constitutional, not six Democrats on social media,” Senator Barrasso said.

“I think the President is absolutely right to be requiring and talking about legal responsibility and them being held accountable,” Senator Barrasso continued.

“These are the same Democrats who have been doing everything they can in the last 10 months to undermine President Trump, undermine the Republican party and our efforts,” Barrasso said.

Senator Barrasso explained that the Democrats were responsible for the recent government shutdown and wanted to greatly increase taxes if they had their way.

“Everyone voted of them voted to raise taxes by 4 trillion dollars. Everyone of them voted for the shutdown,” Barrasso continued.

“That’s who they are. They are not looking for solutions. They are part of the problem,” Senator Barrasso said.

“So, is this just Democrats trying to clip the wings of President Trump with these new bills? What are these bills that are trying to lower President Trump’s effectiveness and lower his power?” Bartiromo asked.

“You got it absolutely right. They are doing everything they can to undermine the President. That’s why Chuck Schumer figured out his playbook to shut down the government. It was to hurt President Trump, to hurt the efforts of the country moving forward,” Barrasso said.

“That was organized and orchestrated weeks in advance. Many of them wish the government was still shut down,” Barrasso continued.
