White Coat Waste Exposes US Navy’s Cruel Taxpayer-Funded Experiments on Vulnerable Monkeys in Peru – Biden-Era Funding Set to Continue Until 2028 Unless Trump Admin Stops it (VIDEO)

In a shocking new investigation, government watchdog group White Coat Waste (WCW) has uncovered ongoing, taxpayer-funded primate experiments at a high-risk US Navy pathogen lab in Peru.

The probe reveals how the Naval Medical Research Unit South (NAMRU South) is using threatened monkey species for painful and deadly tests involving E. coli, malaria, dengue, diarrhea, and other deadly pathogens, all on the American dime.

White Coat Waste’s findings were first reported by journalist Laura Loomer, who wrote, “The US Navy lab purchases dozens of primates from the species ‘Nancy Ma’s night monkeys’ and sickens them with malaria, diarrhea, and other illnesses. NAMRU South is a Biosafety Level 3 lab, meaning that it infects animals with diseases lethal to humans. White Coat Waste calls it a ‘high-risk bioagent lab.’”

According to WCW, NAMRU South is infecting Nancy Ma’s night monkeys, a vulnerable primate species officially listed as threatened, with these horrific diseases.

Disturbing videos and photos obtained by WCW show the small monkeys being confined in cages, tattooed for identification, and prepared for shipment to the lab.

These experiments are not only cruel but also a blatant waste of taxpayer money, with active Navy contracts covering primate purchases as recently as last year.

Shockingly, some of this funding, initiated during the Biden administration, is slated to drag on until at least 2028 unless the Pentagon intervenes.

“NAMRU South and its primate tests are currently funded by over $28 million in active DOD grants and contracts issued under the Biden Administration, some of which are scheduled to run through 2028,” White Coat Waste reports.

The report adds, “Records show that monkey experiments at NAMRU South have been funded with tax dollars by the DOD, Dr. Fauci’s National Institutes of Health division, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the U.S. Agency for International Development.”

WCW Senior Vice President Justin Goodman said in a statement to The Gateway Pundit:

“White Coat Waste’s new investigation exposes how the US Naval Medical Research Unit in Peru is wasting tax dollars to purchase threatened primates to abuse in painful and deadly experiments for E. coli, malaria, dengue, diarrhea, and other deadly pathogens. We followed the money and found that Biden-era funding for primate purchases and testing at the Navy’s high-risk bioagent lab in Peru is set to continue through as late as 2028. We’re urging Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Navy Secretary John Phelan to cut these primate testing contracts immediately, just like they stepped up and slashed dog and cat testing earlier this year following WCW’s investigations. The CDC is shutting down its monkey labs, and taxpayers shouldn’t be forced to fund the Pentagon’s dangerous, cruel, and wasteful monkey business abroad either. The solution to the Pentagon’s Peruvian primate testing problem is simple: Stop the money. Stop the madness!”

Loomer added, “WE MUST SHUT DOWN THE LAB AND END THE FUNDING FOR THIS CRUEL,TAX PAYER FUNDED ANIMAL ABUSE AT THE US NAVY!”

Earlier this year, US Navy Secretary John Phelan banned all testing on dogs and cats, directly crediting WCW’s investigations and relentless advocacy for the change.

Similarly, under the Trump administration, the CDC is now shutting down its own primate labs following pressure from WCW.

Another PETA Lie: ‘Trump Did Nothing to Stop Animal Experimentation’

These victories prove that decisive action can end this madness, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary Phelan can do the same for these Peruvian monkey tests.
