REALITY CHECK: Trump Says Zelensky Must Accept Peace Plan Because ‘Ukraine Is Losing’ the War (VIDEOS)
Zelensky must face the facts.
US President Donald J. Trump spoke at length about his view of the Russia-Ukraine peace process.
While many of the ideas expressed by Trump were already circulating, the US leader was very blunt in his assessments of the war and of the Ukraine leadership.
The main point expressed in this interview for Politico is that Trump has told Ukraine to accept his peace proposal because Russia is winning the war.

Trump slammed European leaders for failing to ‘adequately support Ukraine’.

“Russia has the upper hand, and they always did. They’re much bigger. They’re much stronger in that sense. I give the people of Ukraine and the military of Ukraine tremendous credit for the bravery and for the fighting and all of that. But you know, at some point, size will win, generally.”
While saying that he likes the current European leaders, Trump said they ‘talk but they don’t produce’: ‘Well, they can’t be doing too right because look what’s happened’.
