White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will deliver a press briefing today amid escalations in Trump’s ongoing war against drug traffickers and terror after the US seized a Venezuelan oil tanker on Wednesday.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the US Coast Guard, with help from the Navy, seized the oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela.

Trump later told reporters, “We’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela. Large tanker, very large. Largest one ever seized action — and other things are happening. So you’ll be seeing that later. And you’ll be talking about that later with some other people,” Trump said during remarks at his White House roundtable.

“The tanker has been used in recent years in an illicit shipping network supporting foreign terrorist organizations,” FBI Director Kash Patel said.

The President boasted on Truth Social this morning, “STOCK MARKET JUST HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH!!! When will the Fake Polls show that I am doing a great job on the Economy, and much more??? Thank you!”

Additionally, the White House is touting a years-long low trade deficit due to President Trump’s tariffs today.

Leavitt is expected to discuss these wins and the escalations with Venezuela during the press briefing at 1 pm ET.
