Senator John Fetterman was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to talk about the epidemic levels of antisemitism in the world in light of the horrific terrorist attack in Australia at a Hanukkah celebration that claimed numerous lives and left many wounded.

“Your reaction to what has taken place?” Bartiromo asked.

“We should all universally condemn all of these things,” Fetterman said.

“Just imagine, two people, you know, organized to try to kill as many Jews as possible,” Fetterman said.

“Almost 30 people wounded, you know, 12, I’m reading 12 people killed. I mean, just for celebrating a holiday right now. It’s astonishing,” Fetterman continued.

“Antisemitism is a worldwide scourge, and it’s constantly demonstrated to be deadly,” Fetterman explained.

Senator Fetterman explained to Maria that a two-state solution for the Palestinians would be a bad idea, especially since Hamas is still armed and is still committing acts of terrorism against the Jews.

“If you create a Palestinian state, what you will get are more killings of Jews. Do you agree?” Bartiromo asked in light of Senator Lindsey Graham’s previous comments.

“Our western allies now calling for a two-state solution when Hamas refuses to disarm and are actively trying to kill Jews. I can’t imagine why anybody would do that at this point,” Fetterman commented.

“What about this strong pro-Palestinian movement within the Democrat party. Why?” Bartiromo asked.

Fetterman is also one of the few voices in the Senate, within the Democrat party that has spoken out against the antisemitic behavior that is taking place in the US.

“Look at the races you know, for the Senate in the 2026 cycle. You know, one of the signature issues is being anti-Israel,” Fetterman explained.

“I can’t imagine why that’s becoming more and more part of my party’s platform,” Fetterman continued.

“Is there something that you believe you can do to affect change in the Senate?” Bartiromo asked.

“Well, what I can do is I can control my voice and my vote,” Fetterman said.
