Here is Who Is Poised to Become Sole FBI Deputy Director After Dan Bongino’s Departure

President Trump will likely not have to look far to find outgoing FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino’s full-time replacement.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Dan Bongino on Wednesday confirmed he is resigning from the FBI and will be leaving in January.
“I will be leaving my position with the FBI in January,” Boongino wrote on X. “I want to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose.”
“Most importantly, I want to thank you, my fellow Americans, for the privilege to serve you. God bless America, and all those who defend Her.”

Of course, the next question on everyone’s mind is who will replace Bongino as he returns to the world of podcasting.
Fortunately for Americans, the replacement appears to be in the FBI building already.
According to reports, FBI co-Deputy Director Andrew Bailey appears poised to ascend to Bongino’s position. He will assume additional responsibilities in the role, including overseeing the bureau’s daily operations and making key decisions.
Bailey was hired as co-Deputy Director back in September of this year. Before that, he served as Attorney General of Missouri.
This appointment suggested to some on the outside that Bongino’s departure was inevitable and Bailey was being groomed as his full-time replacement. After all, this ‘dual role’ was considered quite unusual.
During his tenure as Missouri Attorney General, Bailey was regarded as a conservative stalwart and a loyal supporter of Trump.
For example, he ardently defended Trump against the lawfare launched by Democrats to jail him for the rest of his life.
Bailey also fought to restrict efforts by leftists who wanted to castrate minors, defend the unborn, and stop public schools’ DEI programs.
With his legal background and loyalty to President Trump, Bailey is a wise choice for the position.
Of course, Trump is always capable of throwing a curveball.
