Rep. Andy Biggs Announces Run for Governor of Arizona, Says Congress is Not Redeemable — Bannon’s War Room (VIDEO)
War Room’s Steve Bannon was at AmFest 2025 with Rep. Andy Biggs, who announced that he will be running for governor of Arizona in the upcoming election.
He made a decision not to run for reelection in the US House of Representatives, explaining that Congress is not redeemable.
Biggs explained that one of the things that he was concerned about was the growing national debt.
“If it wasn’t for Andy Biggs, you wouldn’t have any common sense down there,” Bannon said.
“You are going to run for Governor. Why are you leaving the House?” Bannon asked.
“There’s not more than five or six guys in the House that keep the sanity, right? Particularly on the spending. So, why are you leaving the House to run for Governor?” Bannon asked.
“This failure to say we have got to exit the path that we are on if we are gonna change the country,” Biggs said.
“We changed personnel. That didn’t work. We changed the infrastructure. We changed the rules of the place. That didn’t work,” Biggs continued.
“We can’t continue on, or else you are going to be sitting at 75, 80 trillion dollars of national debt in the next seven years,” Biggs warned.
“By 2035, we will be paying two trillion dollars a year in interest,” Bannon said of the national debt.
“Arizona is so screwed up. Katie Hobbs a disaster, the AG a disaster, the Secretary of State, a disaster. The whole thing a disaster,” Bannon said.
“We got nothing but a bunch of communists running it. What are you gonna do about it?” Bannon asked.
Rep. Biggs explained that having strong leadership at the State level would be a hedge against a turnaround in national elections.
He explained that the Republicans were refusing to get rid of the filibuster in the Senate to help President Trump and explained that Arizona needs strong leadership, especially if the Democrats regain power. If the left regains the House, that would greatly hinder Trump’s America First policies.
“He is the bottom line. You all know how important Arizona is to the national, political scene,” Biggs said.
“Arizona needs to be the leader in the nation, and we need to basically remove the person who is actually killing our great state, and that’s the Governor Katie Hobbs.
“If we don’t have that policy, then the states better get ready, and I want to be like Joseph in Egypt. Arizona has got to be ready and prepared,” Biggs said.
