WATCH: GOP Rep. Brandon Gill Busts Out the Receipts During Hearing and HUMILIATES Democrat Witness After Dem. Asserts Massive Somali Immigration Stengthens Minnesota

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) proved why he is one of the GOP’s rising stars after completely embarrassing a woke Democrat witness during a hearing by exposing a series of incontrovertible facts regarding the Somali community in Minnesota.

On Wednesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held its first hearing on the widespread fraud in Minnesota’s social services programs.

At least $9 BILLION has been stolen from Minnesota taxpayers under the watch of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and state Democrats. Most of this theft has been concentrated in the Somali community.

During the hearing, Rep. Gill asked Democrat witness Brendan Ballou a critical question: Does large-scale Somali migration to Minnesota strengthen or weaken the state?

Unsurprisingly, Ballou took the politically correct approach and claimed the thousands of freeloading Somali migrants make Minnesota stronger.

Gill then brought out the receipts and proceeded to completely embarrass Ballou with some actual facts. For example, he noted that 54% of Somalis are on food stamps, 73% on Medicaid, and 81% are on welfare in general.

He then compared these numbers to those of native Minnesotans, who consume a far lower percentage of government programs.

Ballou had no facts to counter Gill. Instead, he pathetically tried and failed to lecture the Texas congressman for being xenophobic.

Notice how Gill kept his calm throughout the exchange.

GILL: Let me ask you: Does large-scale Somali immigration make Minnesota stronger or weaker?

BALLOU: Certainly stronger.

GILL: Do you know what percentage of Somali-headed households in Minnesota are on food stamps?

BALLOU: No.

GILL: 54%. Do you know what that number is for native Minnesota households?

BALLOU: Well, to be clear…

GILL: It’s 7%…What percentage of Somali-headed households in Minnesota are on Medicaid?

BALLOU: I don’t know.

GILL: It’s 73%. Do you know what that percentage is for Minnesota native households?

BALLOU: You’re using the phrase Minnesota native households…

GILL: The number is 18%. That is quite an outstanding difference.

Let me ask you one more: What percentage of Somali-headed households are on welfare in general?.

BALLOU: I don’t know.

GILL: It’s 81%…After ten years of being in the United States, what percentage of Somali households continue to be on welfare?

BALLOU. I don’t know.

GILL: The number is 78%. What is the percentage for native Minnesota households?

BALLOU: The majority of Somali Minnesotans are as native as many of us…

GILL: Let me ask you again: Does that (number of Somalis on welfare) make Minnesota stronger or weaker?

BALLOU: The majority of Somalis in Minnesota are born in the United States…

GILL: What percentage of working-age Somalis who have been in the U.S. for ten years or more, how many of them speak English very well?

BALLOU: I don’t know.

GILL: The answer is about half. That seems pretty low, doesn’t it?

It doesn’t sound like something that makes our country stronger to me, and I think most Americans would agree with me on that.
