WATCH LIVE: Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche Holds Press Conference on Compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act as 3 Million Pages of Epstein Documents to be Released

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is currently holding a press conference on the Department of Justice’s compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act as the Administration comes under fire for not releasing all of the Epstein files as required by the law passed late last year.
Blanche opened the press conference, announcing that the Department of Justice is producing more than 3 million pages, more than 2,000 videos, and 180,000 images.

Per Fox, the DOJ is also expected to release years’ worth of Epstein’s personal emails. “During the course of our investigation, we seized years and years’ worth of Epstein’s personal emails,” Blanche said in a statement to Fox.
Per the Hill:
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will speak with reporters Friday morning as Justice Department (DOJ) continues to work its way through files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Trump administration has received criticism over how slow the documents, required to be made public by law, have been released. DOJ officials have defended the timeline, however, citing the need for robust redactions to protect victims.
Blanche’s press conference also comes hours after the arrest of Don Lemon and other journalists by federal authorities. Lemon had drawn scrutiny from the administration in recent days over his coverage of anti-immigration enforcement protests at a church in Minnesota. Demonstrators targeted the church because one of its pastors was also an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official.
Blanche has defended the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the wake of two fatal shootings of U.S. residents and cast blame on Gov. Tim Walz (D) and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) for the turmoil.
