REPORT: USAID Funded Stanford University and It’s “Internet Observatory” Project – The Same Censorship Group That Targeted The Gateway Pundit and Parler

Over the past years, many of us, this journalist included, have been completely wiped from major social media platforms that function as today’s digital public square.

Now we know that taxpayer money has been funneled to silence the American taxpayers. Let me tell you a story about the digital media platform Parler and how the USAID targeted them.

With that in mind, Parler and other platforms began providing us that freedom in the digital space. Parler in particular, founded in 2018 as a Twitter’esque alternative that respects ACTUAL free speech, was one of the earlier pioneers in this parallel economy for the exchange of ideas.

While it achieved some early success and showed signs of growing to tens of millions of followers over the course of the next few years, they too became victims of Orwellian attacks from hacktivist groups that have spent years doxxing, debanking, harassing, and stifling anyone to the right of Karl Marx.

In the days following the events of January 6th, that we now know was fomented by federal informants and allowed to continue by Nancy Pelosi and the DC Mayor’s failure to take President Trump’s concerns about security seriously, a leftwing hacktivist breached Parler and leaked users personal data.

And then Apple and Google banned them from the App Store, with Amazon Web Services being the final nail in Parler’s coffin by canceling their hosting services.

BTW, Parler is back under new leadership and planning BIG THINGS in the coming weeks. Secured by the blockchain and free from censorship. 

Now, this GP journalist has learned that the Stanford Internent Observatory, a group that received funding from the National Science Foundation, which is in partnership and receives funds from USAID, published a report on how they “took down” Parler.

The GP has been involved in a lawsuit against the SIO with Trump advisor Stephen Miller’s America First legal, because of their role in censoring vital COVID-19 vaccine and 2020 election information.

In the unearthed document, published by former SIO Director Renee DiSiesta, the report confirms their collaboration with the Election Integrity Project, a project of the University of Wisconsin that is funded by the founder of Craigslist who also funds Soros and globalist aligned groups the Poynter Institute, Politifact, and International Fact Checking Network.

Michael McFaul, a former US diplomat and national security official under Barack Obama leads the FSI institute which oversees the Stanford Internet Observatory chaired by DiSiesta.

He is one of the lead architects of the Russian collusion delusion hoax. Here he and DiSiesta discuss their debunked theories.

USAID Funded Stanford Takedown of Parler by Jacob Engels on Scribd

The report lists Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Dinesh D’Souza, Dan Bongino, Laura Loomer, Senator Ted Cruz, Mark Levin, former Congressman and Trump Media CEO Devin Nunes, and Eric Trump and the Trump team as main culprits of spreading disinformation on Parler.

Publications the Babylon Bee, PragerU, The Gateway Pundit, Daily Caller, One America News Network are also mentioned for amplifying so-called “disinformation”.

Even MyPillow Founder Mike Lindell’s defense fund website is mentioned.

We must also remember how similar USAID tactics were instrumental in totally erasing Infowars and Alex Jones from digital platforms. Jones today thanked Glenn Beck for his decades long campaign of exposing USAID.

And these publicly funded groups issued their reports, then coordinated with the mainstream media and government agencies to achieve their goals of silencing their political opponents.

Democrats have been crowing since Elon Musk and DOGE exposed the USAID, claiming the funding freezings will effect humanitarian aid around the world, when in fact much of what USAID does is meddle in elections and propagate regime changes around the globe.

And it doesn’t stop in the United States.

The report also slams former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, his son Flavio, and his allies for spreading misinformation and causing a spike in activity.

“The July spike correlates with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and his son Flávio joining Parler. Prior to this, there were only a handful of Portuguese-language bio users in our bio-detected subset (~850 as of 6/22). Along with the Bolsonaros, several other prominent Brazilian right-wing political figures joined Parler in July, including former education minister Arthur Weintraub, economic minister Paulo Guedes, and several other politicians from Bolsonaro’s PSL party and the conservative PTB party.

In terms of “score,” the highest ranked entity on Parler is Jornal da Cidade Online, a notorious source of disinformation in Brazil. Among other conspiracies, it has spread misinformation about Venezuelans having access to Brazilian voting machines—a commonality with U.S. misinformation campaigns.“

This should come as no surprise as USAID is known to be a global meddler in nation state activities, and groups like the Stanford Information Observatory and other groups like them toe the globalist / deep state propaganda machine to stifle pro-freedom movements.

Maybe that’s why Democrats like Jasmine Crockett are openly threatening Elon Musk and President Trump?

 

Just this week it was confirmed that mainstream media publications that have regularly slammed Parler, The Gateway Pundit, and people like former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro have received MILLIONS in USAID funding.

We are talking Politico, Reuters, The Associated Press. The same mainstream media that lied about January 6th, COVID-19 vaccines, the 2020 elections, among a laundry list of ACTUAL disinformation.

They lie about US foreign involvement, they lie about domestic policies, they lie about our elections. Basic rule of thumb, if their lips are moving or fingers are typing, it’s almost always false.

Thanks to the courage of Elon Musk and DOGE, things are changing and changing rapidly. No longer will United States tax dollars be used to defame citizens, bankrupt companies, engage in foreign wars.

The American people deserve to know what is being done with our money and until we do, the spigot has been turned off.
