(VIDEO) DHS Assistant Secretary Responds to Democrats’ Crying Victim After Storming ICE Facility – Says DHS is “Not Playing Games” as Individuals Still Walk Free and Continue to Incite Uprisings

As Democrat lawmakers continue to roam free after storming an ICE facility and assaulting Department of Homeland Security officers, the Department of Homeland Security, days later, is making strongly worded statements.

The Gateway Pundit reported on ICE bodycam footage that was released over the weekend and shows Democrat Rep. LaMonica McIver verbally abusing and physically assaulting federal agents at the Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark, New Jersey. Democrat New Jersey Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rob Menendez were also there, fighting for the release of dangerous criminal aliens.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested for criminal trespass on Friday, and he was quickly released. He later said in an interview with CNN that he has no regrets over the incident.

The other Democrats have likewise shown no signs of regret.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin gave another warning that they “won’t stand for this” and are “not playing games,” while responding to McIver’s claims that DHS agents “created that chaos.”

WATCH:

McLaughlin: They were just simply doing their job and trying to keep the facility safe. Bodyslamming, body-ramming, striking an officer, pushing, shoving, whatever you want to call it, it sure looks like assault. People should watch that and decide for themself. There is no place for that, especially members of Congress. It is so beneath them to be treating law enforcement like this, our brave law enforcement. We thank them for keeping that facility safe and keeping Americans safe every single day.

Part of the reason that they were protesting, apparently, is because they were saying we didn’t have the right permiting, we didn’t have the right inspection, which is absolutely false. We had all the right permitting, all the right fire code inspection, electrical inspection, safety inspection. But, in a press conference afterward, just showcasing that they want their 15 minutes of fame, they actually said that the conditions in the facility were quite good and up to snuff. So, it’s pathetic, and we won’t stand for this in this administration. We’re not playing games with the safety of our law enforcement.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the initial DHS response to Democrat members of Congress and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka storming the ICE facility in Newark was a reminder of the guidelines for members of Congress to visit ICE facilities. There have been no arrests or charges as of yet for members of Congress– just a reminder that “Members of Congress cannot break the law in the name of ‘oversight’” and must comply with the guidelines.

It is unclear whether these rogue individuals will be held to account for breaking the law.

If not, they will continue breaking the law and encouraging others to do the same, as seen in New Jersey just this morning.

On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that leftist radicals blocked the gates at the same Newark detention facility and called for ICE to be abolished.

Additionally, as noted by the Department of Homeland Security, “This stunt by sanctuary politicians puts the safety of our law enforcement agents and detainees at risk.” The post continues, “ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults.”

It could be argued that these four individuals in government are committing seditious conspiracy by storming a government facility, attacking DHS agents, attempting to “prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of” immigration laws, and inciting others to do the same.

Add this to the fact that they are committing these acts in defense of invaders and designated foreign terrorists, and it could easily be considered treason.

Treason is defined by 18 US Code 2381 as,

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

Sedition is defined by 18 US Code 2384 as,

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

Can we at least see charges for disorderly conduct or assault of a federal officer?

US Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba has announced an investigation into the incident, but who knows what will come of that? It can be recalled that Democrat Senator Chuck Schumer came under investigation in February for threatening conservative Supreme Court justices, but the Justice Department rebuffed then-acting DC US Attorney Ed Martin’s plan to impanel a grand jury to probe Schumer.

After the repeated warnings and threats of investigation, these people continue and act even more emboldened to violate the laws of the United States.

After four years of political persecution and targeting of conservatives, will we ever see justice for the Democrats?
