JUST IN: Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna to Hold Press Conference with 10 Epstein Victims on Wednesday Amid House Push to Declassify Epstein Files (VIDEO)

Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) are set to hold a news conference with ten Jeffrey Epstein victims on Wednesday as they continue pressing for the declassification of the Epstein files.

Massie and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) previously joined forces with Ro Khanna on a discharge petition aimed at compelling a full House vote on releasing classified Jeffrey Epstein files. Khanna said that 12 Democrats and 12 Republicans have signed onto the petition.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, however, House Speaker Mike Johnson adjourned the House early, and lawmakers fled DC for the entire month of August after reported tensions over the petition. Johnson later blasted Massie for not bringing the petition to the floor during the Biden years and now “clammoring” about it.

Massie had previously demanded the release of the Epstein client list, but did not act like he is now. Still, it is unclear if it would have had the support necessary to pass when Biden was President, and this is an issue that prominent supporters of President Trump– including current FBI Director Kash Patel– championed to help Trump get elected.

However, the Trump Administration has angered supporters of the President with its handling of the case. In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel hosted a significant Epstein file release for a select group of MAGA influencers, handing them white binders that turned out to have nothing new inside. Bondi later claimed that she was misled by FBI agents and that “thousands of pages of documents” were withheld from her office.

Director Patel later defended the incredible claims that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide despite the series of questionable circumstances surrounding his death, including the security cameras not working, the security guards falling asleep, and then falsifying records to cover their negligence.

Later, in July, a leaked DOJ memo claimed there was no incriminating client list, no credible blackmail evidence, and no grounds to investigate uncharged individuals connected to Epstein’s massive sex trafficking operation.

President Trump has even called some Republicans “stupid” and “foolish” for wanting the Epstein files so badly. “It’s perpetrated by the Democrats and some stupid Republicans and foolish Republicans fall into the net, and so they try and do the Democrats work,” he said. The President also called the idea that there is more to the story “bullsh*t” and condemned his “PAST supporters” for buying into the “Jeffrey Epstein hoax.”

Now, Massie and Khanna are hosting a press conference with victims that we haven’t heard from on September 3.

“People are going to be outraged,” following the news conference, Democrat Ro Khanna said in an interview with Fox.

“These victims haven’t spoken for decades. When Epstein got that lenient plea deal, no one talked to the victims or their lawyers.”

He added, “All the victims are saying is for closure, we need the Epstein files released, that there are a lot of other rich, powerful men, politicians, business leaders, who have committed abuse and who have not been held accountable.”

Watch below via Fox:

Khanna: We’ve got 212 Democrats and 12 Republicans, including Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren Boebert. Look, this is not about Donald Trump, and it’s not partisan. This is about justice for the victims of rich and powerful men who abused underage girls. And 10 of these victims are speaking out for the first time at a press conference that Massey and I are organizing on the steps of the Capitol on September 3. In this country, people want transparency, they want accountability. I’m confident we’re going to get the 218 votes for the discharge petition.

Reporter: Talk about that news conference because you’re kind of touting it, that it’s going to be, if not explosive, there’s going to be some news made.

Khanna: Well, these victims haven’t spoken for decades. When Epstein got that lenient plea deal, no one talked to the victims or their lawyers. No one talked to the victims or their lawyers when Maxwell was sentenced. No one has ever heard, what do they want? And my belief is, when the American people actually hear the victims for the first time, they are going to sympathize, their hearts are going to be broken. And all the victims are saying is for closure, we need the Epstein files released, that there are a lot of other rich, powerful men, politicians, business leaders, who have committed abuse and who have not been held accountable. That’s what we’re going to hear on September 3, and people are going to be outraged. And I don’t see how after that, the house can’t vote for the release of these files.
