HOAX IN THE SKIES: Bulgaria Walks Back Accusation Against Russians for Jamming GPS of EU Commissioner von der Leyen’s Plane

VDL’s plane was not victim of GPS spoofing, according to Bulgarian authorities.

As usual, Globalist lies don’t fly.

Four days ago, we reported here at TGP on how the warmongering tour of European Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen was reportedly disrupted by a jamming of the GPS of her plane over Bulgaria.

It was soon apparent that the claims against the ‘usual suspect’ Russia were unsubstantiated.

So, today (5), it has emerged that Bulgarian authorities have come out to put an end to the hoax.

Euronews reported:

“Bulgaria’s Prime Minister says there is ‘no evidence’ of ‘prolonged interference or jamming’ of the GPS signal around Plovdiv airport at the time of von der Leyen’s landing, but experts remain divided, with some still supporting Russian spoofing allegations.

Bulgarian officials have denied claims they suspected Moscow of jamming the GPS of a plane carrying European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, days after the Commission cited Bulgarian authorities as suggesting the incident was ‘due to blatant interference from Russia’.”

VDL was NOT well received by Bulgarian population. Was the GPS hoax meant to distract to that?

While the Euronews report does its utmost not to discredit the GPS story, it can’t help but quote officials that show the EU Commission lied about information received by Bulgaria.

“In an interview with Bulgarian channel bTV, Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Grozdan Karadjov denied that the government had submitted any information on the matter to the European Commission, contradicting the Commission’s assertion that Bulgarian authorities suspected the disruption was the result of the Kremlin’s hybrid warfare.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Bulgarian aviation authorities did hand the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) a report of the conversation between the pilot of the plane and the control tower, but while this exchange referred to “minor issues” with the GPS, it did not mention Russian interference.”

Maybe she was trying to distract from the below:
