(VIDEO) ICE Director Todd Lyons Discusses Illegal Alien who was Found in Oklahoma with New York Commercial Drivers License that Read “No Name Given”
ICE Director Todd Lyons on Friday responded to the shocking surge in ICE arrests for illegal aliens with commercial drivers’ licenses issued by Democratic states.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, 130 illegal immigrant truck drivers were arrested in Oklahoma last month during a statewide operation with Oklahoma law enforcement and ICE.
Most of the illegals were driving with commercial driver’s licenses (CDL), which were issued by Democratic-led states. One of the illegals from India was using a New York CDL, which didn’t even have his name on it. Instead, the name section read, “No Name Given.”
“If New York wants to hand out CDLs to illegal immigrants with ‘No Name Given,’ that’s on them. The moment they cross into Oklahoma, they answer to our laws,” Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt said in a statement.
This comes after an illegal alien with a Biden work permit and a California CDL killed three Americans after he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway in August.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy later revealed that “thousands of licenses that should never have been issued actually were issued,” and “states are issuing licenses that extend months and even years beyond a driver’s lawful presence in the US.”
Lyons appeared on Fox’s Big Weekend Show on Saturday to discuss the discovery.
Fox contributor Griff Jenkins reported that the Indian illegal was caught driving an 18-wheeler commercial truck with his bogus license issued by the state of New York.
“That’s literally a REAL ID he was arrested with,” Jenkins noted. REAL ID has stronger security requirements and is required to board flights and to enter some secure government buildings. To obtain a REAL ID, one must show proof of identity, legal status, and residency in the state that is issuing the ID.
Duffy also highlighted the REAL ID stamp on “No Name Given’s” driver’s license, noting, “it was like going through a security clearance for me to get my real ID.”
“You have these sanctuary states that want to go ahead and try to just make it welcoming for these people that we don’t know who they are,” he said. “Homeland Security Investigations is dedicated to working with the other state police departments and our other federal agencies to make sure we get these IDs off the street and arrest these criminal aliens.”

Lyons: It’s really scary, Griff and, you know, like you said, to see that on a driver’s license issued by a state, no name given. And the worst part, there’s a REAL ID star right up there in the corner. I don’t know about you all, but it was like going through a security clearance for me to get my real ID. So, I can’t believe that we’re giving illegal aliens who have no right to be here these driver’s licenses. You have these sanctuary states that want to go ahead and try to just make it welcoming for these people that we don’t know who they are.
And again, these are CDL licenses. These people are transporting hazardous goods materials at times, and in some cases and, in some cases, we don’t know exactly what they’re doing. And look how many American citizens have lost their lives because of individuals like that. They have these driver’s license you know, Homeland Security Investigations is dedicated to working with the other state police departments and our other federal agencies to make sure we get these IDs off the street and arrest these criminal aliens.
