JUST IN: Four Dead, 20 Injured in South Carolina Bar Shooting

A shooting at a South Carolina bar on Sunday morning took four lives and left at least 20 people injured.

Shortly before 1 am, police were called to the scene of Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, where hundreds of people were gathered, according to officials.

“The circumstances of this incident are still under investigation. At this time, we know that at least 20 people were injured. 4 were transported to area hospitals in critical conditions and 4 victims were pronounced deceased at the scene,” the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

“The Sheriff’s Office is investigating persons of interest. We appreciated the assistance of multiple Law Enforcement agencies, area Fire Departments, and Beaufort County EMS as we all worked the scene to assist those with injuries.”

Several victims were transported to the hospital by Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services (EMS).

According to the officials, some victims and witnesses “ran to the nearby businesses and properties seeking shelter from the gun shots.”

Officials are not releaseing the names of any victims at this time.

South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace offered her prayers and condolences for the “horiffic act of violence.”

Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating another weekend nightclub shooting in Leland, Mississippi. As The Gateway Pundit reported, a shooting at a Leland, Mississippi, high school homecoming celebration left four dead and 12 injured on Friday night.

FBI Jackson announced on X that they are aware of the situation and “providing assistance to our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners.”
