WATCH: UNHINGED Rep. Jasmine Crockett Compares Stacey Plaskett Texting Epstein to Texing a Pastor, Says Censure Attempt was Racist – “People be Textin… You Want to Strip a Black Woman of her Committee Assignment”

Rep. Jasmine Crockett went off during a livestream on Thursday, defending Democrat Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett and crying racism over GOP attempts to censure the nonvoting delegate.

Plaskett was caught colluding with and taking direction from Jeffrey Epstein, who was already a convicted child sex offender at the time, during a 2019 Congressional Hearing, where former Trump Attorney Michael Cohen testified against the President, pushing the Russia collusion and Stormy Daniels hush money hoaxes.

Notably, her line of questioning, crafted by Epstein, was intended to hurt Trump, who Democrats claim was tied to Epstein.

The vote to censure Plaskett failed after GOP Representatives Don Bacon (NE), Lance Gooden (TX), and Dave Joyce (OH) voted against it.

GOP Representatives Andrew Garbarino (NY), Jay Obernolte (CA), and Dan Meuser (PA) voted present.

Days after the vote to censure Plaskett, Jasmine Crockett went on a livestream rant, where she used the race card and claimed that Republicans only wanted to censure her because she was texting somebody, and even likened it to her texting a pastor.

“I remember when I had the bleach blonde situation,” she said in reference to a 2024 congressional hearing, where she snapped and went off on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, calling her a “butch.” She continued, “You know, who was texting me? My pastor, okay.”

“You want to strip a black woman of her committee assignment because she was texting with Epstein,” Crockett said.

WATCH:

Crockett: Beacuse, I’m sorry, but like, we don’t have ethical, like, rules that say that you can’t receive text messages or you can’t respond to text messages, especially if somebody has a certain record and you can’t do it in committee. We all be sitting on our phones. And yes, people be texting. I mean, our staff text us. Like everybody text us.

Like people, I remember when I had the bleach blonde situation, you know, who was texting me? My pastor, okay. So like, let me be clear, there is no ethical violation. And so the idea, or the audacity, to decide that you want to strip a black woman of her committee assignment because she was texting with Epstein…

The Gateway Pundit reported on the incident where Plaskett was caught texting Epstein and video footage from the hearing compared to time stamps on the messages.
