As a J6er who was pardoned, I know firsthand the battle that begins after the prison gates open. The Biden regime and the weaponized DOJ don’t just want to jail patriots; they want to break them completely—financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Today, I want to bring attention to the urgent fight of a fellow patriot, Jonathan Joseph Copeland.

Like so many of us, Jonathan went to the Capitol on January 6, 2021, to exercise his First Amendment right to peacefully protest what he believed was a stolen election.

For this, the two-tiered justice system decided to make an example of him. He was arrested, charged, and treated like a domestic terrorist.
His story is one we’ve heard time and time again: he was peaceful. As his fundraiser page clearly states: “He never hurt anyone. He never broke a window. He never carried a weapon.”

This mattered little to the persecutors in DC. The DOJ pushed for an outrageous 30-year prison sentence. Key witnesses who could have proven his peaceful intent were barred, and evidence was twisted to fit their narrative. In the end, Jonathan was sentenced to 71 months almost 6 years in federal prison for the “crime” of being present.

According to his story, prison “crushed him.” He was isolated, labeled an “insurrectionist” by guards, and cut off from his family and the outside world.

Though Jonathan was thankfully released in January 2025 after President Trump pardoned all January 6 defendants, his life is in ruins. The regime’s goal was accomplished: his job is gone, his savings are depleted, and his living arrangement was lost the moment he was taken to prison.

Today, Jonathan is fighting to get back on his feet, but he is starting from zero.
He is currently staying with a relative, but this is only temporary. He has no stable place of his own, no privacy to heal from the trauma he endured, and no way to fully restart his life without help.

Simple things we take for granted—reliable transportation, funds to secure a room, even work clothes—are currently out of reach. While he is fighting severe depression every day, he is determined to work, rebuild trust, and stand on his own two feet again.
This is where we, as patriots, must step in. Jonathan isn’t asking for pity; as his campaign says, “he’s asking for a second chance after surviving a broken system.”

We cannot let the regime win by allowing these patriots to be destitute and homeless after all they have endured. Jonathan needs our help to secure the basic foundation for a new life: a stable living space, transportation, and funds for necessities.
Please give what you can to help Jonathan Joseph Copeland rebuild his life.

Jonathan’s story is one of many. The political persecution of J6ers is an ongoing crisis, and the financial and emotional burden on these families is immense. The fight for these patriots does not end with their release.
