JUST IN: Brown University Shooter Was Dead for Days Before Law Enforcement Found His Body: Autopsy

The Brown University shooter was dead for days before law enforcement found his body, according to the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner.

Brown University shooter Claudio Neves-Valente was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside of a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire, on Thursday evening.

Claudio Neves-Valente was a Brown University student and a Portuguese national.

Authorities on Thursday evening confirmed Claudio Neves-Valente is also responsible for the murder of MIT professor Nuno Loureiro.

Law enforcement descended on Extra Space Storage in Salem and discovered Neves-Valente’s body.

Neves-Valente died by suicide after a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the autopsy.

The medical examiner believes Neves-Valente likely died on Tuesday – just one day after he murdered the MIT professor.

CBS News reported:

An autopsy report released Friday shows the suspect, Claudio Manuel Neves Valente, is estimated to have died on Tuesday, Dec. 16 — one day after the shooting of MIT professor Nuno Loureiro and two days before authorities found Valente’s body in a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire.

He died by suicide as a result of a gunshot wound to the head, the New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner found.

Ella Cook, 19, on Sunday night was identified as one of the victims killed in the shooting at Brown University, according to her church in Alabama.

Ella Cook was a member of Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama, and the Vice President of Brown University’s Republican Club.

Cook was a sophomore at Brown University.

The second Brown University shooting victim has been identified as 18-year-old Uzbekistan immigrant Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov.

Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov attended Brown University in hopes of becoming a neurosurgeon, his family said in a GoFundMe post.
