Trump Reportedly Says Ukraine’s Zelensky, and Not Russia’s Putin, Is Holding up the Peace Deal: REUTERS
Zelensky and his EU Globalists do what they can to impede peace, and cling to some non-starter proposals.
Ever since February 2025, in the infamous Oval Office heated on-camera argument between Donald J. Trump and Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky, it was clear that the US President knew that Ukraine didn’t have the cards, and should settle with Russia as fast as possible, lest they lose more and more territory.
The assessment proved totally correct.
We have been diligently reporting here on TGP on Trump’s peace push for the Russia-Ukraine war ever since before he was inaugurated.
But one aspect stood out: Zelensky didn’t negotiate like the losing party that he is, but rather as the golden boy of Globalism that he also is.
‘To the victor, the spoils’: the winning party gets more (if not all) of its demands met, and has to make the least concessions.
That basic fact of warfare is ignored as Zelensky skillfully delays a peace agreement and still, one year on, clings to the notion that European troops will enter his country to defend it after a ‘ceasefire’ – when everyone know Russia will never, ever accept that.
The ‘coalition of the willing’ is a guarantee that war will continue.

Today, Trump’s take on Zelensky’s behavior was made clear as day.
Reuters reported:
“U.S. President Donald Trump told Reuters that Ukraine – not Russia – is holding up a potential peace deal, rhetoric that stands in marked contrast to that of European allies, who have consistently argued Moscow has little interest in ending its war in Ukraine.”
Trump stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘is ready to wrap up the war’, while Zelensky is reticent.
“’I think he’s ready to make a deal’, Trump said of the Russian president. ‘I think Ukraine is less ready to make a deal’.
Asked why U.S.-led negotiations had not yet resolved Europe’s largest land conflict since World War Two, Trump responded: ‘Zelensky’.”

Trump, when asked if Putin is an obstacle to peace: “I had a rough talk with Zelensky. He’s not making it easy — never had the cards.”
