Another out-of-touch celebrity is threatening to leave because she can’t handle an administration that puts American workers before globalist interests.

Hollywood star Kristen Stewart, once known for her Twilight fame, is now threatening to abandon the United States and relocate abroad, all because of President Donald Trump’s America-First film industry policies that she claims are stifling artistic freedom and squeezing Hollywood out of its creative core.

In an interview with The New York Times, Stewart blasted Trump’s proposed 100% tariff on foreign films, calling it “terrifying” for the film industry and a direct threat to creative expression in America, according to Fox News.

Stewart, now 35 and directing her first feature film The Chronology of Water, revealed that she was forced to shoot the movie in Latvia because she felt she “couldn’t work freely” under current U.S. conditions.

She lamented that the country’s filmmaking ecosystem has become too restrictive and inhospitable for visionary directors.

Fox News reported:

Stewart added that Trump’s threat of tariffs on movies made outside the country is “terrifying” for the film industry.

“Reality is breaking completely under Trump,” she said. “But we should take a page out of his book and create the reality we want to live in.”

The bi-coastal actress – who spends time in Los Angeles and New York – admitted that she’s “probably not” going to live in the states for much longer.

“I can’t work freely there,” Stewart said. “But I don’t want to give up completely. I’d like to make movies in Europe and then shove them down the throat of the American people.”

Stewart also claimed that Hollywood has devolved into what she called a “capitalist hell” while enjoying millions in fame and privilege.

WATCH:

This isn’t Stewart’s first brush with the President. Their history dates back to 2012, when Trump famously tweeted about her relationship drama, and 2017, when Stewart used her Saturday Night Live monologue to launch a vulgar attack on him.

While Stewart prepares to flee to Europe, the Trump administration continues its push to Make Hollywood Great Again by incentivizing domestic production and penalizing those who abandon American workers for cheap foreign labor.
